Unhinged

  • Andrew Breitbart was a raging asshole. The fact that he was a conservative didn't make him a raging asshole. The fact that he willfully misled and smeared the people he disagreed with lies made him a raging asshole. He ruined the career of Shirley Sherrod for his personal gain. He helped bring down ACORN, an organization that helped the poor and powerless just so he could look good. He went after NPR because they didn't allow him to spout his lies and bullshit. In short, the life of Breitbart was the perfect symbol of what the modern conservative Republican party has become, paranoid, self aggrandizing, racist, and hate filled.
  • Corporate whore and despicable morbidly obese drug addict Rush Limbaugh called the woman who wanted to testify at the Congressional hearing on birth control a slut, a whore, and one who needs to record all the sex she has so we can watch it since we might have to pay for her contraception. The fact that he said something so obviously sexist and horrid doesn't shock me, idiots have to be who they are after all, they must remain true to what got them to where ever they are in the world. No, what shocks me is there are women still willing to listen and defend anything he spouts in between bites of gravy soaked dollar bills and cheeseburgers made from ground up poor people. And what really shocks me is that there are even women who are willing to have sex with him, provided of course they find his tiny smelly shriveled up cancerous penis among the folds of his fat first. I bet the low self esteem women who want to let him fuck them have to roll him in flour and look for the wet spot before they mount his bloated methane filled crotch.
  • The most racist sheriff in America, you know the one, he's the guy in Arizona who hates and wants to imprison anyone who speaks Spanish and who doesn't use a SPF 99 sunblock, held a press conference the other day where he claimed that after further investigation on his part that President Obama's long form birth certificate is a forgery. Color me shocked that this racist who never met a brown skinned person he didn't want to toss in jail finds that the president's birth certificate is a fake. Orly Taitz must have been his chief investigator and Franklin Graham must have been his spiritual counselor.
  • A Montana judge who forwarded a racist email that said that mixed race children are the result of white women having sex with dogs wants you to know he's not a racist. Riiiiiight. What I'd like you to know is that this asshole isn't a dispassionate jurist, he's a piece of shit who hates white women who have sex and children with black men, black men in general, the president, and you and me for knowing that he's racist. He'd not only like to tear down the new MLK monument in Washington DC, he'd like to go to MLK's grave and piss all over it as well.

With role models like these, it must be truly a heady time to be a conservative.

Yes, he was a crook

It's kind of odd getting to the age where films are being made about events that I lived through and remember with crystal clear clarity.

I remember watching the David Frost Show when I was a kid in Detroit. I remember not getting all of the jokes but the ones I got made me laugh like crazy.

I remember the 1972 election, that was the first year I watched as much of the conventions as I could, it was also the last year that I could stomach watching the Republicans convene. I remember watching Watergate unfold and although I didn't fully understand what was happening, I remember knowing it was terribly important.

I remember vividly when Nixon resigned and left the White House in disgrace. And I remember thinking, "Good riddance," as he rode off to California. I knew even then that he was a small petty venal man with a persecution complex that was a mile wide. And everything I have read about him as I have gotten older has more than confirmed my youthful impressions of him. Yes, he was smart. Yes, he was a good international statesman, but the facts remain that he was a petty small venal man who did not hesitate to use his political power to lash out at his enemies, both real and perceived. The fear that he might strike out and arrest journalists, anti war demonstrators, or even ordinary citizens who disagreed with him was real and not unfounded.

I remember watching the interviews David Frost did with Nixon in 1977. It was fascinating to me to see Nixon desperately try to salvage himself from the scrap heap of history.

Last night we finally saw this film:
I had resisted seeing it because I didn't think the story was going to be compelling, I was wrong, it's very compelling. I also resisted it because I'm currently sick of Ron Howard and his schmaltzy movies, his brother Clint, and his uber pretentious daughter Bryce Howard. And really, you'd have to be a pretty bad director to fuck this story up and thankfully Howard didn't do that. But he did cast his creepy brother Clint and for that he deserves a bitch slap.

All the non interview stuff in the movie is fictional, so take it for what you will but they did a great job of recreating the interviews between Frost and Nixon.

Langella, who I had major reservations about, and Sheen are both very good in their roles. And this is probably the best work Sam Rockwell has done since his Chuck Barris bio of a few years back. Ron Howard did do one thing I find commendable and that's reigning in the usually bombastically over the top Oliver Platt.

Despite the presence of Clint Howard, the direction of Ron Howard, and the casting of Oliver Platt, I recommend this film because it shows you that Nixon was indeed a crook who deserved the disgrace and shame he brought on himself and his legacy. It's a shame that Gerald Ford pardoned him because he did commit crimes that were prosecution worthy. And when people say that all the Presidents are crooks but Nixon was the only one who got caught, punch them in the crotch for being stupid enough to say something so patently dumb.

Republicans will eat themselves

The Republican candidate has dropped out of the race in district 23 in New York state and she's endorsed her Democratic party opponent. She did it because the big time Republican money and noise machine has gotten behind her more conservative rival, who incidentally doesn't even live in that district. The conservatives claim she not a real Republican or a real conservative because she supports a woman's right to choose and President Obama's stimulus package. In other words, since she doesn't agree with the conservatives 100% of the time then she's a godless Commie socialist fascist negro loving pig who should not hold office and who had damn well better produce a birth certificate and no that that birth certificate.

I hope the conservative candidate who ran her out of the race wins that seat. And then I hope that his victory emboldens the far right teabagger birther nut bags and they take over the rest of the Republican party. I hope they run as far to the right as they can in 2010 and 2012.

Please, please continue to purge all other Republicans who aren't a little to the right of Atilla the Hun. By all means, keep this up and the Democrats will not only keep their majorities in government, they might actually grow some spine as well.

Forgive me my lack of outrage

I'm sorry but you'll have to forgive me my lack of outrage over that idiot Congressman from South Carolina. He represents the best the Republicans can muster on the health care debate. He takes money from health care lobbyists and he doesn't want any Democratic party president, especially a black one, to have a legislative victory as big as this one might be so he's resorted to screaming and being rude.

You know what? We've seen nothing but this kind of thing from the right wingers, and from some on the left, I'm looking at you Rick Boucher and Heath Schuler, many times before in this debate. So really, Wilson was just saying what all the other people who want to deny our fellow citizens basic health insurance were thinking. He's a pompous ass, who gets his facts wrong and who wants nothing more than to retain the status quo so he can rake in campaign dollars from big pharma and big health insurance companies.

So meh, I'll refrain from getting outraged over that boorish corporate tool's disrespect for the presidency and I'll save my outrage for what he and his party did to these Wilsons:

Outing a covert CIA agent to cover your party's ass during the prosecution of a unpopular and ultimately illegal and useless war is much more outrageous than trying to shout down the President during a speech to a joint session of Congress. But hey, stay classy Rep. Wilson, you're the best your party has to offer in the health care debate.

How dare you Ari

If you haven't seen Chris Matthews put Ari Fleischer on the spot about 9/11 happening on George W. Bush's watch, then you need to look up the video because seriously, it's comedy gold. Ari gets indignant when confronted with the fact that the biggest terrorist attack on US soil was under his President. He actually has the balls to say when reminded of that niggling little fact, "Chris, how dare you!"

It's like he's saying, "How dare you remind the American people of that!" Or, "How dare you not blame Bill Clinton!" Or, "How dare you see through the tissue of lies we so carefully built! God damn it, we kept America safe by watching thousands of people die and then sending thousands more Americans to their deaths in a wasteful useless war in Iraq!"

Of course all the dead, displaced, maimed, and psychologically damaged people with brown skin who didn't/don't speak English and who didn't love Jesus and the US of A don't matter in Ari's world. What matters most to Ari is that we were safe after his President stood by and let the biggest terrorist attack on US soil take place. Oh hang on, it turns on that his President's war of terror that was supposed to keep us safe actually didn't keep us safe at all. Cases in point:
  • the Madrid bombings happened after the war on Iraq started.
  • the bombings in Britain happened after the war on Iraq started.
  • over half the terrorist acts worldwide since 1980 have occurred in Iraq after the war of terror on Iraq started.
  • civil liberties have been taken away from people living in countries that made war on Iraq.
  • more Americans have died in the war of terror on Iraq than died in the collapse of the Twin Towers.

So really Ari, the question is "How dare you?" How dare you try to justify all the death, murder, and mayhem you and your boss caused? How dare you try to pretend that you old boss wasn't a blood thirsty dictator who is no better than the one he removed in Iraq? How dare you keep trying to re-write history? How dare you show your face among civilized people after all the lies you told to justify us going to war? How dare you and Bush and his cabal of liars and murderers still walk free when you should all be imprisoned and then tried for war crimes and crimes against humanity? How dare you not admit you were wrong and that your boss was the worst possible person to lead this country after the attacks of 9/11? How dare you not succumb to your guilt and not commit suicide?

It's too late for you Ari, history is not judging you and your old boss kindly and it never will.

Let's check in with Tom Delay

"How about you don't check in with me right now."

Why Tom? Is this a bad time?

"Hell yes it's a bad time. My book tanked, my political career is in shambles, my party got it's ass handed to them in the last election, and it burns like a motherfucker when I pee. Oh yeah, I also got that Ted Haggard guy sniffing around after me. That dude smells like stale flop sweat and Aqua Velva that's gone bad."

Well Tom, just tell me how you're doing with that whole 'God told you' to rebuild the Republican party thing. How's that going?

"Did you see what happened to us in the last election? Does that not tell you how it's going Mr. Smart Ass? When Elizabeth Dole calls her opponent godless and an atheist and she still loses you know that maybe God ain't on your side anymore."

Okay Tom. We'll leave you alone now.

"Hey, before you go, how about you give me some scratch. I could use a couple hundred thou, my investments have tanked and my legal bills are piling up."

Sorry Tom, I'm tapped out because just sent Acorn a check.

"Up yours monkey fucker."

Same to you Tom.

Hahahahahaha

Hahahahaha.

Excuse me I need to catch my breath because I'm laughing really hard. And loudly as well. Hahahahahahaha.

What's that? What's so funny? Well, it seems that all the ad revenue is drying up for the right wing group called Pajamas Media.

And they are blaming it on the left! Hahahahahahahaha. Seriously hahahahahahahahahahaha. And they also claim that the left wing blogs, like mine, stay afloat because of the largess of George Soros and Moveon.org. Hahahahahahahahaha, how funny and paranoid is that? I don't take ads because I don't blog to make money, I blog because I like to write and to make people think and laugh. I never met George Soros and I certainly never took a dime from him. Even though they do some good things, Moveon.org annoys the shit out of me and I don't take any orders from them. I'm an ad free totally independent blogger with ad free totally independent content.

The reason the ad revenue on the right wing blogs sponsored by Pajamas Media is dropping so much is because no one wants to read right wing blogs anymore. The right has failed to keep pace on the net, just as they failed in their efforts to impose their twisted brand of rule on the USA. There will never ever be a permanent Republican majority in Congress or on the net. People have seen through the lies of the right and Pajamas Media is failing because conservatism has failed. Rush and the boobs at FOX Noise can scream all they like but America has moved on.

Hey dumb ass...

...don't break your arm patting yourself on the back. You are nothing short of shameless and you'll go down in history as the worst President we ever had inflicted on us. I know you think that if you keep telling us that you did a great job that maybe it will sink in and we'll actually start to believe you. But it's never going to happen...ever. And here's why:
  • You took a surplus and you turned it into a trillion dollar deficit.
  • You did not keep us safe. Those planes that hit the Twin Towers, you were warned about them and you did nothing to stop them.
  • You lied to us about why we had to go to war.
  • You refused to listen to the military professionals who tried to tell you how to fight the wars we should not have been fighting because you thought you and your staff of yes men knew better.
  • You approved torture and you are guilty of war crimes.
  • You're lack of regulation and accountability has led to the economic meltdown and thousands of deaths.
  • You refuse to believe that you did anything wrong when in fact your whole Presidency was a case study of what not to do while President.
  • You took more vacations than any other President while most Americans had to give up theirs.
  • You ate organic food while in the White House while most of us had to eat genetically modified food slathered with pesticides.

If you had a shred of decency in you then you'd just shut the fuck up and you'd slink away with your tail between your legs. I can't wait for the grown ups to take charge the second you are out of office. It's going to take years to undo the mess you made you delusional bastard, now please just go the hell away.

My new Congressman not only hates women...

...he hates kids too! He voted against expanding SCHIP yesterday. Congressman Roe, seen here getting ready to cast another ballot against the working people of our Congressional district,
is a disgrace to his office and he's yet another in a long line of Republicans who feed at the federal government trough but don't want anyone else to share in that meal. It's time I wrote him an email demanding he resign, maybe if I'm lucky someone will read it to him.

The first family of delusion

The Bushes are the first family of delusion and here's why:

  • Bush the first wants Jeb to be President. Or a US Senator from Florida. Can someone please tell that old obsequious bag of greed that this country is not his to play with? And right after you tell him that, please tell him that after the hit job his other son did on us it'll, hopefully, be a cold day in hell before we let anyone else who sprang from his loins be in charge again. I see why papa Bush wants Jebby in office, he'll be just as good to the robber barons as his other kid was but come the hell on, does the old man not see how much his off spring is hated right now? Blind people can see it from miles away.

  • Bush the second, or as I like to call him, Bush the Worst, has decided to punt the whole Middle East situation to Obama. Remember a year ago when the man who only paid attention the Middle East only if it dripped oil on his murderous blood soaked hands said that his lasting legacy would be peace between Israel and her enemies? We all see how well that turned out. For eight years they ignored the festering situation in the West Bank and Gaza. They allowed Israel to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian people and do whatever else they wanted because their version of Christianity means that there is no justice for people who suffer at the hands of their occupiers. So both the Palestinian and the Israeli populations have to suffer because Bush thinks that Jesus will come back and save his ass if Israel starts world war 3 in Gaza. Well you soon to be out of work delusional bastard, I got news for you. If Jesus actually did come back during all this fighting int he Middle East that you let happen, he's not going to pat you on the ass and tell you what a good boy you've been. Nope not at all. Jesus will however go straight to where the suffering is greatest in Gaza and he'll live with and help out the afflicted Palestinians. If you read your bible Georgie, you'd remember that Jesus was against the entrenched religious order of his day, and he'll be against the entrenched political religious order that you have inflicted on us today.

  • And finally we come to Laura Bush. Technically she's only a Bush by marriage but she's bought into their delusions as well. Someone please tell her that not only is her husband a failure, he's a an epic failure. He's failure personified. He is, to paraphrase Dorothy Parker, failure with raisins. Laura honey, you're taking stand by your man to new absurd heights. Your husband failed at every policy change he tried to make. The only things he did in his reign of terror was he enriched the already obscenely wealthy corporate robber barons and he plunged us into two, count 'em two, unnecessary wars. Laura sugar, if you don't think your husband has been a failure then per haps you don't know what the word failure means. If that's the case I'd be glad to send you a dictionary so you could look the word up. And Laura, if you did look it up you'd see the face of your chicken hawk husband right next to the word failure in that dictionary.

"That one."

My impressions of last night's debate:
  • Bush McCain's outrage over the failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac was funny. He still thinks their failure is what has led to the current economic meltdown. He and his lobbyist advisers don't have a clue, or more likely won't let themselves admit, that all this has been caused by deregulation and lack of vigorous governmental oversight. His running mate is still shrieking in her shrill faux populist accent, "Government, get out of the way!"
  • I, like most Americans, cringed when he called Obama, "That one."
  • Obama looked cool and calm through out the whole debate. Bush McCain by contrast looked flighty and extremely rude. While Obama gave his answers Bush McCain kept moving around behind him as if to distract viewers and the times when he interrupted Sen. Obama were not only intolerable they showed what an impatient petulant old fart he is.
  • I laughed out loud when Bush McCain said he knew how to "fix" Social Security. He said several times that it is going to be easy to "fix" it and that he knew how. The problem is he didn't go into specifics, he just claimed that he knew how to fix it. I'm not sure what he's got in mind but I damn sure know how to fix it and I'll tell you my plan for making it solvent until the end of time: under the current system you only pay SSI tax on the first $96,000 (or something close to that figure anyway) and after that you pay nothing on the rest of your income. I would remove that cap so that all incomes no matter how high they got would all pay the same SSI tax rate. Bingo, problem solved.
  • Tom Brokaw hated not being part of the debate more than he was. His little remarks about how little time they had were annoying as hell. If you had so little time Tom, then why did you waste more of it by carping about it?
  • They just had to stick a question in there about supporting Israel. Holy shit, is there anyone in this country who doesn't think that we won't attack Iran or someone else if they fuck with Israel? Give it a rest already, it's foregone conclusion. How about next time instead of asking about protecting Israel you ask about protecting us from greedy rapacious corporations who want to devour all the wealth and natural resources they possibly can? How about a question or two about the growing gap between the haves and have nots? How about a question on poverty?

This picture from last night's debate really sums up for me the essence of this race, Obama is the clear strong favorite, the candidate of the future who happened to win today. And Bush McCain is the fuzzy old man who has been left behind, just like his failed discredited conservative policies have been, as the country as moved on into the future.

Stay classy you former POW you!

It looks like Bush McCain can tell the truth after all. Only after he's been caught lying that is. And the fundamentals of his promise to run a clean campaign were lies though. Heck, even noted liar and power mad bloviator Karl Rove said as much on FIXED News the other day.

Friday, September 12, 2008

There they go again

Bush McCain has taken whining to a new level in the past few days. He is claiming that the whole tenor of the campaign would be different if only Sen. Obama had agreed to appear with him in town hall style debates around the country.

I'll wait for you to stop laughing at how idiotic that sounds before I continue.

You done yet?

It's okay, get it all out before you finish reading.

So the smears would never have come out if only Obama had decided to stop running his campaign the way he wanted to and which so far has won him not only the Democratic party nomination but also millions of newly registered voters, but of course it remains to be seen if they'll be allowed to vote in their states due to voter caging by entrenched Republicans who will stop at nothing to cling to power. If only Obama didn't go out and give those great stump speeches that fire up the party, bring in hundreds of thousands of new voters, and inspire the base then McCain would have called off his attack dogs and stopped the lies. Oh, if only, if only.

If only my ass. The tenor of this campaign would be as nasty as the last two Presidential campaigns have been no matter what Obama agreed to. As long as people like Karl Rove work for and advise the Bush McCain campaign then they'll use the slash and burn attack style of campaigning that we've all come to expect from them. They'll use every dirty trick and lie in the book to cling to power because they can. As long as Bush remains the most hated President in the history of this country and as long as Obama and the rest of us keep tying him to Bush then Bush McCain will keep smearing Obama with lie after lie. Make no mistake here, they'd attack Jesus Christ for not being a better messiah if he was running against Bush McCain.

This notion that if only Obama had agreed to McCain's preferred style of debate, which by the way favors style over substance, which would have allowed McCain to look witty and mavericky and would have let him escape from actually saying anything of substance, is as much nonsense as McCain's assertion that only he knows how to catch Osama Bin Laden and he'll only do that if we let him become President.

He can change the tenor of the campaign if he wants and he could talk about the issues that we all care about if he wanted. But he won't do it because he's on side opposite of most Americans on all the big issues of this election year. He's wrong on taxes, he's wrong on the economy, he's wrong on the war. If I was him I'd cling to a flimsy excuse to keep smearing my opponent too. I'd do anything to keep the voters from finding out my positions on the issues if I was him too. But the place where he and I would part ways is I would not have made a crass cynical political pick of an inexperienced governor who hails from a state where most every one in the Republican party is foul with the stink of corruption. If it was me, I'd have picked someone who is actually ready to step in the Presidency if something happened to me.

But what the feck do I know? I'm just a blogger and we all know how Bush McCain feels about us, he hates us. And to top that off, I'm from a nation of whiners. And I never was a POW and I'm not a lobbyist so why should Bush McCain listen to me?

Nice job old man

It's on.

Bush McCain has made his pick. It's, as I'm sure you all know by now, Sarah Palin. She's the scandal plagued Gov. of Alaska who denies that man is causing the current climate crisis and has never visited our troops in Iraq. She's a tool of big oil who wants to drill in ANWAR and she hates Hillary. The right wing corporate media loves her and she's got the full support of indicted Senator Ted Stevens who has worked closely with her for over a decade.

The only thing that would make all of this any better is if Dick Cheney says that she has his full endorsement.

I'll be interested to see what the Republican clergy have to say about this choice. I wonder if Dobson, Warren, and Robertson will tell her that she has to defer to the man on the ticket because it says women must defer to men in their bible.

It's an interesting pick to be sure but it's not quite the historic pick they are making it out to be. For one thing Walter Mondale, a Democrat, was the first nominee of a major party to pick a woman as his veep.

By picking Palin he's undercut any and all experience issues he has tried to make, Palin is a governor of a state with a tiny population and she has no experience on the national stage. Sen. Obama has been a US Senator for four years and he was elected in a state that has a huge population, and he has ties to Hawaii and Kansas. The choice of Biden showed that Obama has the wisdom to pick a man who has impeccable foreign policy credentials, heck even Bush consulted with him after 9/11 and if Bush had listened to his warning about terrorists using planes as weapons before 9/11 then we probably could have avoided the whole thing. On the other hand no one has consulted with Sarah Palin on any national security issue. And it's pretty telling that Ms. Palin praised Obama's energy policy on her website.

And finally, when they stand side by side Obama and Biden look Presidential, they look like leaders. Bush McCain just looks like a dirty old man next to his much younger veep choice. I hope she and Cindy Bush McCain will get along and maybe in a lull in the campaign they'll exchange recipes or swap stories about how they both did drugs.

Bush McCain's mansions

Tip o' the fez to Cause for Concern.

Eat up with stupid

We passed by a big $200,000+ house this afternoon and it had a sign in the yard that said, "McCain: Because he's not a socialist!"

I bet by September they'll have one that says, "McCain: Because he's not a militant black Muslim who will force us all to have gay sex!"

Then by mid October they'll have another one that says, "Obama hates white people but he's going to knock up your lilly white daughter!"

And by election day it'll be, "A vote for Obama means certain death for all white people!"

Another whiny Republican

My douchebag Republican Congressman David Davis lost his primary to a challenger, as I gleefully reported the day after the results were in, and now he's retained a high priced Washington DC law firm, the kind they rail against all the time, to help him stay in office. He claims that there were (gasp!) Democrats who voted in our district's open primary, that means anyone can vote in either party's primary if they damn well want to, with the express purpose of removing him from office.
That's my lil' buddy in the center being told that he must be 'this tall to serve in Congress.'
********
Davis has decided not to concede because he says that there is a conspiracy afoot to get him out of office. He says that state law prohibits people who have an established voting record of voting for one party to cross over and vote in the other party's primary. He is on record saying that any one who knows of any Democrats who voted for his opponent should call his campaign office and turn them in so that his legal team can hunt them down. Being the responsible citizen I am I dutifully called his office and I left him a message. I told him that I saw little green men voting for his rival. I told them I also saw Osama Bin Laden and several other Arabic looking men who told me they voted for his rival. After I told them I also saw Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid voting for his rival, I told him that his tactics would give us all yet another reason to be proud of him and that the little baby Jesus would surely smile on his efforts to thwart the will of the people of this district.
********
Hey, you know what? You can join in the fun by calling his campaign office and leaving a message too! Please be nice and give him all the respect he deserves when you call him at 423-773-8861. You can also reach him at his soon to be ex office in Washington DC by calling 202-225-6356. And you can also reach him at his local district offices by calling 423-323-1235 or 423-317-7459.
********
Read all about the current plight of my whiny cry baby Congressman, who by the way wants to keep cock fighting legal, here. After I read that article I looked up the phrase crazy as a loon cry baby in the dictionary and I found Davis's picture next to the definition. He's symptomatic of the kind of whiny bullshit the Republicans are going to pull the day after Obama and company drive them from office on election day. Gird your loins people, it's going to be a tough fight dislodging these Republicans in November.
********
(Fez tip to my rabble rousin' buddy Rev. John over at Shuck and Jive for doing a post about this first. I get all my local news over there since I don't read my local paper.)

Casting begins

You know someone will make a movie about the new Bush McCain sex scandal. I'll go ahead and help them out with some casting for that flick. The part of the woman Bush McCain fooled around with will be played by Mena Suvari. The Iron Sheik will come out of retirement to play Bush McCain.
And the part of Mrs. Bush McCain will be played by the chick who used to be Ellie Mae on the Beverly Hillbillies, Donna Douglas.

The parts of George Bush and Dick Cheney will be played by trained weasels.

We gots us a Czar to oversee the warrin' and stuff

Just when you think it can't get much worse in Washington DC, it does. Our Idiot in Chief went and found himself a "War Czar."

No not that Czar. That would be just stupid. Oh wait, we forgot who we're dealing with here. Seriously though, after months of searching for someone to lead our armed forces in the wars of terror on Afghanistan and Iraq, King George finally found someone dumb enough to take the job. Word out of the White House is that now that they have a Czar. all the blame for the past four years of fucking up the war will be laid at his feet, along with all future blame for fucking things up worse than before.

Call us stupid, call us naive, or just call us flat out flabbergasted that the Pinhead in Chief would have so publicly searched for someone to do the job that the fucking COMMANDER IN CHIEF is supposed to be doing. Maybe this is all part of his master plan to privatize the federal government more and more.

Anyone remember back in 1999 when he said use his MBA skills on the country if elected? Remember that? Well boys and girls, this was the man who was president of the team that traded Sammy Sosa away to the Cubs. If you will remember that at times like this then maybe some of his antics will make more sense. Holy shit, how long can this nation stand being led by a venal, unfeeling, uncaring, amoral, responsibility shirker?

Sweet Jeebus, a fucking war Czar, unfucking believable.

But what really pisses us off over this is that President Pinhead did not ask us to take the job.

We'd be willing to bet the war would have been over long ago if we'd been in charge and then this kind of photo-op shit might have actually meant something.

Ladies, don't fixate on my bulge. It'll only drive you mad with desire for some monkey lovin.'

(We fling our thanks to Dr. Zaius for this and all photoshopped photos of yours truly.)

Paul's peter 3

The White House keeps doing what it does best, keeping it's unqualified, amoral, unfeeling, and unabashedly idiotic appointees in office. Despite all calls for his removal the White House keeps insisting that Paul "I Didn't Do Nothin' Wrong and If You Say I Did, Then You Are a Terrorist" Wolfowitz will hang on to his job as head of the World Bank.

From the AP:
"We've made clear that we support Paul Wolfowitz," White House spokesman Tony Snow told reporters. "Furthermore, he has said -- and we agree -- that certainly a lot of mistakes were made in the personnel process. But it's not a firing offense," he added.

Thus spake Tony.

Then Condi chimed in from Moscow, where she had been sent to convince the Russians that the "missile defense" system we want to shove into Europe is not meant to threaten them at all, no sir, and how dare you insinuate such a thing, in fact you must be a terrorist for even thinking such a thing:

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice echoed the White House's comments, which came a day after a World Bank committee said he had violated ethics rules in the promotion and pay rise for his companion Shaha Riza, a Middle East expert.
"It seems to me that what happened there, as he said, he made some mistakes but it doesn't seem to be the kind of thing that you would want to see the dismissal of a World Bank president over," Rice told reporters in Moscow.

It's obvious to us that La Condi, seen here being the filling in a reverse Oreo, is even more out of

touch than we previously thought. Condi hon, if you don't want to see a World Bank President dismissed over causing a paralyzing controversy that is causing the world community to lose what little faith they had in the rule breakin', conflict of interest havin', warmongerin' Wolfie in the first place, then what do you want to see him dismissed over? Murder? (Well, he is killing time there after all.) Rape? (Well, he is giving us all a good fucking over yet again.) Or would it take him actually doing some good for the poor and disadvantaged people of the world to get you pissed off enough to call for his firing?

Condi, Tony, and Georgie, listen up. Wolfie has got to go. So does Gonzo. And Dickie. And while you're at it, the American people expect your resignations as well.
