It should surprise no one that he's not taking any blame for any of the bad things he's done. It should shock no one that he and his team of criminal accomplices are trying to rewrite history to make him and themselves look better. It's not at all surprising that they try to spin his shit into gold. Sure the economy is tanking but it's not his fault. The federal response to Katrina wasn't his fault. The joke of a war he's running in Afghanistan and Iraq is not his fault. The fact that his diplomatic team never ever did anything to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians is not his fault. The terrorism that has taken place because he invaded Iraq is not his fault. Nothing has been his fault since the first day he stepped into the Oval Office and he threw away the sign that sat on the Presidential desk that read, "The buck stops here."
Most of the country would love to see him go away like this:

But it's not going to be. The man who had intelligence data that said that Bin Laden was going to attack us and who did nothing about it is going to go get off scot free. The man who authorized waterboarding, which we said was a war crime when Japanese army officers did it after WW2, is going to go home and sleep in his race car shaped bed and he's going to dream about the time when an intellectual pipsqueak who had the conscience of a one eyed jackal was the most powerful man in the world.
********
He's going to end his delusional Presidency the way he began it, with a joke and a wink and a hale and hearty fuck you to anyone who has the gall to disagree with him. Thank goodness history will never ever absolve him of any of the bad things he done and of any of the boneheaded decisions he's made. History will judge the Bush doctrine to be a joke and in the end it will be as big a success as the Maginot Line was.
********
Damn it, I just ranted when I said I wasn't going to. Oh well, I have to get these out of my system before the grown ups take over next week and the work of repairing the damage that yet another George Bush hath wrought begins.

If I ever get near enough to Bush I'll make sure when I throw my shoes at the murdering bastard they hit him square in his murderous face.

live and work here:
But these two cretins
work here:
Everybody clear on that now?

I've watched it a few times, mainly after Sparky went to bed because it's not her kind of TV show, and I saw an episode last night on A&E On Demand about a young woman in CA who is a drunk, a meth addict, and a stripper. During her intervention she was laughing at her family and all the people who were trying to help her. Eventually she broke down and agreed to go into treatment but she lasted about 3 weeks before they tossed her out. Then when she got back to CA after betting tossed from treatment she said she wasn't going back to get any more help. So her family had her arrested on some outstanding warrants against her. The judge gave her a choice of 90 days in jail or enroll in a two year drug and alcohol treatment, the crazy woman chose jail because she wanted to get out, have a drink, and then go back to stripping. Some people never learn.
He's sick, he refuses all help, and he keeps plunging himself and us in deeper with his antics. He took us into an illegal immoral unethical war and after over one million people dead and millions of other lives shattered he keeps us there because he thinks history or his god will vindicate him in the end.
He's addicted to war and to making sure his corporate pals make obscene profits off of his big adventure. If FDR or Harry Truman had fought WW2 and the Korean War with cost plus contracts for war material providers then they would have been impeached as soon as the first bomb dropped. Instead they did the right thing, they fought wars with open and transparent financing. Truman and FDR also went to war with clear defined objectives and with the full backing the US Congress and most of the citizens of this country, unlike Bush who went to war with only the backing of the Republicans in Congress, some turncoat Democrats, and the corporate media.
Driving his addiction to war is our addiction to oil. We're all addicted to it here in the USA and our Idiot in Chief is merely enabling our addiction that is ruining our planet.
Just like the guy in the above picture we're drunk on oil and petroleum related products. We're as drunk on oil as Bush is drunk on power. I think it's too late for an invervention on Bush but we can all do something about our addiction to oil. I'm not going to put a laundry list of things you can do to ease your use of oil and petroleum based products, most of you know what you need to do, so please, get off your asses and start doing it. And come November you need to vote out anyone in Congress and in your city and state who won't help us get clean and sober from our oil addiction.
Am I an idiot? Heh heh heh, I may be, but I'm still President until I leave heh heh heh. Damn I looked good in that suit. And my finger smelled real good that day too. I remember it like it was yesterday, hell it could have been yesterday for all I know. Hang on, what did I do yesterday?

He's admitted more than once that he lives in a bubble inside the White House and that he has to rely on his advisers to tell him what's going down, so we shouldn't have been surprised that he didn't have a clue as to what the hell is going down out here in the rest of the country. But it turns out that things are worse than we feared, there are many more things he has not heard about while living inside the White House. And here are just a few of them:

And more of these
before our Idiot in Chief learns that his war was a giant fuck up.
