While there's a break in the action...

...let's get a ruling on Bush McCain's latest gaffes. The election year ref says:

One gaffe too many. Repeatedly referring to a country that has not existed for years, Czechoslovakia, as if it still did was bad enough but now claiming that Iraq and Pakistan share a border just makes Bush McCain even more confused, doddering, and old. Sure, they'll say he just misspoke or he was tired or something, but the fact remains that after the damage Bush the Idiot has done to our nation in the past 7 years, the next President has to be on his toes all the time and he can't afford to misspeak Old McOldson did.

You want cheap gas? Then pull my finger. Only the last 19% of the people who support Bush the Idiot and the mouth breathing racist morons who live in Kentucky and West Virginia are falling for the line of bull spew that Obama is responsible for high gas prices. It's McInsane's greedy pals in the oil and gas business who are responsible for those high prices.Don't even think about engaging in premature gay bashing to pump up your base. We all know the Republicans are going to pull out the big gun of demonizing teh gays because they can't make any head way on their other attacks on Obama. Look for a call by Bush McSame to get the ball rolling on a Constitutional amendment that bans two dudes from kissing and making love. Lipstick lesbians will be exempt from this amendment because watching two beautiful women kiss is one of the few things that gets Bush McAngry's old boner working again.

We've had it up to here with your "regular guy who's a real maverick" bullshit. When you flip flop to now support all the things you used to speak out against, the crazy TV preachers, the Bush the Idiot's tax cuts, etc, you can't call your self a maverick anymore. You're not a maverick, you're a sad old man who will do and say anything he can to be elected.

Someone slap some sense into your delusional campaign surrogates. Carly Fiorina claims that it's Obama and not Bush McDoddering who will be carrying out Bush's third term. She must have forgotten that her man voted with Bush the Idiot more than anyone else in Congress in the past 2 years and that he's on videotape saying that he and Bush agree on all the transcendent issues of the day. This from a woman who's biggest accomplishment was almost ruining a great American company, Hewlett Packard, who's brand of printer I use and who also made my digital camera. And then Phil Gramm, who works for USB a foreign owned bank, who lobbies for more banking deregulation, and who helped get us into the mortgage mess we have now due to the deregulation he helped pass in the past, calls Americans "whiners." If you're known by the company you keep then Bush McGeezer has a lot of gall asking to be our next President. He's a doddering confused old man.

His penalty for all these flagrant fouls should be he has to concede the race to Sen. Obama now so that we can start serious impeachment proceedings against the Bush/Cheney crime syndicate. But that's not going to happen so we'll have to settle for seeing him get routed in a landslide come November.

It's time to unburden yourself and come clean, so...

"Hi everyone, Daredevil here. You know me as the blind superhero/attorney from the pages of Marvel comics, but you may not know that I have taken on a new challenge. In addition to all my other jobs and duties, I'm now the official "listener" of this blog. You can tell me anything, go on level with me and I'll never judge you. I'm just here to listen to you unburden yourself. Go on, open up and tell ol' Daredevil anything." "George Bush here, or in other words, the President of the US and A. I'm here to level with you and tell you I'd be shocked if they ever arrest me for anything I've done while in office. My high crimes and misdemeanors have been waaaaay worse than Nixon's, and yet the Congress lets me go right on fuckin' over the poor and working class people of this country. Heh, heh, heh, Hell fire, they may give me a medal or something before I go. If I go, that is, heh, heh, heh."
"Ya'll don't know me but I'm gonna level with ya, if you looked like Dick Cheney as much as I look like Dick Cheney, then you'd be drinking like a fish and smoking like a porn star's privates after a gang bang movie shoot too."
"I'm a half full bottle of Cheerwine, I've got nothing to level with you about. Sorry double D."

"I'd like to level with you Mr. Daredevil and tell you that I, Nigella Lawson, love it when someone tells me I look like Blue Gal."

"I'm not gonna lie to you Daredevil, I'm gonna level with you, this is not what it looks like. Neither I or the white woman know who the hell this monkey is. He just showed up in our sauna, we seriously have no clue as to who he is. Can you tell us sir, does he bite?"

"Namrata Shirodkar here, and I'm gonna level with you. Can you believe I was the third or fourth hottest chick in Bride and Prejudice? I mean come on! How crazy is that? In any other movie I'd be the #1 hot chick on the set, go figure."
"Hardly anybody in the USA knows that I, Prime Minister of Canada Brian Harper, am not Bush's poodle like Tony Blair was. Nope, no siree, I am most certainly not his poodle. I am however Bush's bee-otch. Word. Yo. I'm da mack daddy of all bitchez, yo."

"What that bottle of Cheerwine said goes double for me, so sayeth this bucket o' chum."

"I'll level with you. I don't know jack shit about economics, diplomacy, meteorology, animal husbandry, the father of modern genetics Gregor Mendel, bowling, hot pants, disco dancing, the revolutions of 1848, the price of tea in China, what my minister John Hagee believes, and economics, I know I already said it once but I figured I better toss it in again. But I do know a little something about playing the 'I was a POW in Vietnam' card. Oh have I never told you about how I was a prisoner of war in Vietnam? Well, sit down then and I'll..."

"I'll level with you Daredevil and I'll tell you that while I appreciate Dr. Monkey pushing me to be Senator Obama's running mate this fall, I am considering taking a restraining order out against him. I think he's got an unhealthy crush on me or something."

The house the George built

Only in an America led by an idiot could the call for diplomacy with Iran be likened to Nazi appeasement. It shows once again how little grasp of history those idiots who run the current administration have.

You know, their idiotic pronouncements about this kind of thing might not be so bad if they were doing some actual diplomacy behind the scenes while they shouted their bellicose rhetoric like Nixon did when he "opened" China or like the British government did when it was negotiating with the IRA in private while prosecuting them in public. But no, Bush, Condi, and Cheney are too stupid to do the likes of that. They'd rather just rather widen their current circle of death and call anyone who disagrees with them terrorist loving traitors.

We can only hope they don't try to bring their Jesus back by trying to bomb Iran so that they will trigger Armageddon.

No deal

If Bill Clinton had pulled a stunt like this then the Reichpublicans would have started a second impeachment proceeding against him.  And really, what with the situation in the Middle East so volatile, inflation here at home, a looming world food crisis, and everything else that's wrong, couldn't our Idiot in Chief have found something better to do with his time than go on a fucking game show?  Truly this is Nero playing his fiddle while Rome burns.  Thanks for showing us what matters to you Mr. Idiot.

Just so we're clear...

These Cretans live and work here: But these two cretins work here: Everybody clear on that now?

Good.

The 19 Percenters

A whopping 81 percent of US citizens believe our country is headed in the wrong direction. Actually I'm surprised that number isn't higher. With so many of us dissatisfied with the way our country is going it's not hard to pick out the people who want to turn back the tide of corporate greed, endless war, and the politics of division, all one has to do is look around at one's friends and family. On the other hand it's far harder to find people who are happy with the direction this country is headed in so so I thought I'd highlight some of the folks who think that everything is peachy keen in America.

First up, the man really in charge in the White House, Dick Cheney and his "house" lesbians.
Life is sweet for him because Dick pulls the strings and gets his way no matter what and when informed of how dissatisfied we hoi polloi are he sardonically says, "So?" Let us eat cake Dick, let us eat cake.

And the only officially approved homosexuals the Republicans can stomach are living the high life because they have all the rights and privileges that no other gay or lesbian can have, Mary and her partner are Queens of the queers! If they and their infant face any discrimination then daddy Dick will ship the offender off to Gitmo while he demonizes all the other gay and lesbian people who live in our country.

Things couldn't be going better for this group. They've ridden George Jr's bumbling all the way to the top and they've more than cashed in and they'll continue to do so if and when Dumbass leaves office. They'll never have to live on food stamps or worry about making their rent or mortgage payment, they're American royalty! And if they fuck up there'll always be some star struck right wing hack ready to step in and bail them out, just like the Germans in big business did for former Nazi's after WW2, only this time instead of calling it their support system the "rat line," let's call it the "lying weasel line."

Mr. and Mrs. Corporate Media Liars are in the 19 percent group. For them today's America could not be a better place. They get to be famous for telling lies, untruths, and for just being asses in general. They get to mock and make fun of gays, lesbians, and all manner of brown skinned people. Why Bush/Cheney's America is their paradise! It's no wonder they're fighting like hell to keep that uppity black dude and the former first lady out of office. Their gravy train would ground to a halt if a Democrat was elected, they wouldn't sell as many hate filled books and their TV time would be cut in half if that happened.

Meanwhile the rest of us who live outside that cloistered world of the Washington DC/New York City axis of political/media power continue to get screwed as they try to privatize more and more governmental services and they allow multi national corporations to invade our lives further and further. The majority of us know that something is very wrong and we're ready to do something about it. If they don't screw us out of a free and fair election that is.

I apologize for all the jarring pictures of those wretched greedy rich white people. I'll try to make it up to you by ending this post with some eye candy.

Here's a shot of Salma working her mojo:

Here's a cute shot of Reese Witherspoon:

And no, I didn't forget all your ladies out there. Here's a beefcake shot of me in my bejeweled diaper. As you can tell that banana diet is working out really well for me.

Lord Cheney got yet another one wrong

The callous cancerous tumor we call our Vice President got yet another one wrong in a recent interview with ABC. He said that President Bush had it worse than the 4000 dead American soldiers because the responsibility of sending them to war rested on Bush's shoulders.

How delusional is that uncaring unfeeling old bastard?

To say that Bush has it rough in this illegal immoral war is an impeachable offense in and of itself. Bush doesn't have to put on a uniform and go fight for the multinational corporations like he's made thousands of our men and women do. He won't ever get shot or killed on a field of battle and he certainly won't ever suffer from a disabling wound. He won't come home paralyzed from the neck down and he won't ever be severely injured and made little more than a vegetable as a result of having to go fight a war that should never ever have been waged in the first place. Neither Bush nor his family will ever have to suffer him going off to countless deployments to hold people hostage in their own country while they suffer through a civil war that we caused. Barbara Bush won't ever have to worry if her son's war wounds were exacerbated by being exposed to weapons that contained depleted uranium. Laura Bush won't ever have to worry if her husband comes home in one piece or not. Jenna and Not Jenna will always have their daddy around in one piece and they certainly won't have to worry about him suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for the rest of his life.

But you know what? Thousands of military families will have to suffer through all that. Thousands of our soldiers will have to suffer and possibly die because Bush and Cheney sent them to war.

And let's think of the Iraqi people for just a minute. I'm willing to bet they're suffering a hell of a lot more over this war than George Fucking Bush ever will. He's got a nice house to live in, he's got his family around him, he's a got a job, all his ill gotten wealth, he's got his future ahead of him, what have the Iraqi people got? They've got no electricity, little medical care, little fresh water or food, they've got terrorists in their country that weren't there until we illegally invaded. They've also got the US military holding them hostage so that Bush and Cheney can rake in millions of dollars in war profits.

You know what Lord Cheney? I'd say Bush and yourself have it pretty fucking easy in this war. All either of you have to do is to order more death and dismemberment so you and your pals in Haliburton, KBR, and Blackwater can rake in millions more in blood money. You know what else Lord Cheney? If you chickenhawks have it so rough, how about you try putting on combat fatigues and going to fight in Iraq. Your "boss" says if he didn't have to run things over here he'd love to be in Afghanistan, maybe if and when you two ever leave office you'll both go do your patriotic duty and go fight over there. And while we're at it, you can take all the war hawks in Congress, all the corporate media war cheerleaders, and all the folks in the military industrial complex who were war boosters with you and then you maybe our young men and women can come home.

You are an international disgrace Lord Cheney and you can't be gone from office soon enough to suit me.

So?

Is anyone really surprised at all that Miss Abu Grahib won't take any responsibility for her actions and that she now blames the media for the fall out of what she and others did?
It doesn't surprise me a bit. Why should she take any blame? Further up her chain of command they don't take a bit of blame or any responsibility at all.
This asshole thumbs his nose at us every day as he changes his justifications and reasons for taking us into the Iraq quagmire. He refuses to admit that he's done anything wrong and he never will see all the harm he's brought to our country because he's too stupid to know that he's done everything the opposite way of how it should have been done. Why should that little gal accept any responsibility when her delusional Commander in Chief doesn't?And by now I'm sure you all heard what this malignant tumor had to say when he heard the two thirds of us oppose his fucking war, if you haven't heard it he said, "So?." So. As in so fucking what? As in "So? Why should I care what the plebes think? I'm in charge here and you people better keep quiet or we'll turn this whole country in to Gitmo." So long to sane sober leadership that listens to the people, so long to leaders who are under the rule of law like the rest of us are supposed to be, so long to common sense and decency, so long to thousands of years of precedent, and so long to your rights. He's going to do just what the fuck he wants and he'll do it for as long as he pleases, no matter what the American people think. After all he's not accountable to us, he's only accountable to the people who help put him in power, the multi national corporations, the crooked Republicans who fixed the elections in Ohio and Florida, and the stooges in black robes that we call the Supreme Court.

I've had enough of their sneering contemptuous rule and their refusal to get help for their delusions. And I've had enough of this fucking never ending war. So I'll be on the streets of Johnson City Saturday with my pals from Concerned TN Citizens and we'll be protesting this insane war from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. We'll be protesting in front of the First Tennessee Bank building on the corner of Mountcastle and Roan if any of you want to join us. I know that protesting two hours on a Saturday might not change the way things are right away but if one or two or fifty or a hundred people see us then maybe they'll get emboldened to take action too and then maybe more people will get involved as a result of that and then maybe our voices will be heard and it'll be like a tsunami and the resulting wave of protest will sweep out the bastards in Washington DC in November and then come January we can get the hell out of Iraq and we can go after the real enemy of this country, the multi national corporations who been running roughshod over all of us in their immoral lust for more and more profits.

Be afraid Canada, very afraid

We're coming for your oil. And we may take your maple syrup too but you can keep your icky national single payer health care for all and your lax marijuana laws too. And Celine Dion, you can keep her too.

And now, some illustrations defend President Bush

In a recent interview with NBC our Idiot in Chief said that the looming recession was not caused by the war. In fact he said that we were not going to have a recession at all, he then went on to claim that the economic slow down was due to too many houses being built. His remarks drew praise from an unusual source, these 1950's and 60's illustrations. They're all quick to defend Bush. Let's hear them out, shall we?

Mr. Smith the barber says, "He's right. Too many damn houses over here is what is ruining our country. We need to stop building houses over here and build them in Iraq instead."

His customer Timmy said, "I cry myself to sleep every night because my Daddy died in the war of terror."

Comrade Chen said, "Hurry Comrade Lu, there are American bloggers who mock great thinker George Bush. We must go and silence them so that no one notices how much of their economy we control!"

Comrade Lu replies, "Bush must prevail now so that we prevail later! Lead me onward to the sturggle comrade!"

"I've got something for those fancy book learning creeps who mock our President," said Nurse Jones.
Susie says, "My family has learned to love water soup! It's all we can afford thanks to the way our President has handled the economy. We've all lost a lot of weight on this water soup diet, now my mommy isn't a fat cow anymore so now I love her again!"

Mr. Blanchard has this to say, "Being homeless isn't so bad. We lost our house when I went bankrupt after trying to pay Marge's medical bills. We don't miss that old house so much. The important thing is that Blackwater and Halliburton go on making money off the war. We'll find a nice big appliance box, don't worry about us."The Thompson kids want you to know this, "Gee, we hope they don't build any of those dumb economy ruining houses here in this field, we hope they build another mall that sells stuff no one can afford in this field."
And let's give the last word to Mr. Jenkins. "Leave us the hell alone. We've had enough of that mad man, we're rowing to New Zealand! We can't get away from those asshats Bush and Cheney fast enough."

State of the Union

I didn't watch a second of that bastard's last State of the Union address but I can guess at what he said in it. Someone tell me if I'm right or not.

He said the following things:
  • Social Security needs to be privatized.
  • The wars of terror will keep us safe.
  • Businesses need more tax cuts.
  • Some crazy bullshit about hydrogen fuel cells and switchgrass.
  • Education is bitchin' since his No Child Left Behind law got enacted.
  • The state of our union is good but taxes on American businesses need to be lowered.
  • The inheritance tax needs to be abolished.
  • We can't afford social programs because they take money away from the war.
  • God damn it, why have you not lowered taxes on business yet?
  • Businesses need less regulation and less taxes.
  • There is no recession.
  • Seriously, are you just not listening about lowering taxes on businesses?

Hopefully this is the last time that greedy murdering bastard will give a State of the Union address. Next year when President Edwards is giving his first SOTU speech, hopefully Bush will be sitting in a cell in Gitmo after receiving his daily waterboarding.

For someone who says he wants to spread democracy and freedom...

...Bush sure spends a lot of time with repressive dictators.
Here he is with Egyptian strong man Mubarak. Mubarak refuses to hold free and open elections. He does that because he knows if the people of his country were allowed to vote freely and fairly then his ass would be out on the street.

And here is our Idiot in Chief with the Saudi King. If you want to know what life would be like under a repressive theocracy, then look no further than Saudi Arabia. Free and fair elections? Nope. Free speech? Nope. Freedom of the press? Oh hell nope. Lots of religious laws that hamstring the people and their free expression? Yep. A brutal repressive government that jails anyone on the slightest suspicion of dissent? Yes. The country where most all of the 9/11 hijackers were from? Oh yeah. You know what? Bush wants to reward their "great" behavior with a new multi million dollar weapons system. Oh well, at least they won't be able to use those satellite guided missles against their own people.
And finally Chimpy dropped by and had a chat with the man responsible for keeping him in power for the last eight years. They shared a laugh, a hit or two off the hookah pipe, and a bottle of Old Rot Gut bourbon before Georgie Jr. had to come home.

All in all Bush had a rockin' and fun filled time spreading his bizarro brand democracy and freedom in the middle east. Hang on, I just realized that he didn't go to one very important middle eastern country on his special trip. He didn't go to Iraq. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Thank you Mr. Dodd

Thanks for helping to stop the bill that was going to give immunity to the telecoms in the domestic wiretapping case. I know Harry Reid will try to reintroduce it next year but for now you stood up to Bush and his bullshit. And for that I thank you.And yes, you are my new honorary "homeboy."

However, Abe Lincoln will stone cold bust a cap in your ass if you give up the fight on this one. You've been warned.

"He ain't lyin' yo."

"There's no success like failure..."

I was watching BBC World News on my local PBS station last night and they did a story about Gordon Brown visiting Basra province in Iraq and telling his troops that the UK will be turning over control of Basra to the Iraqi's in a couple of weeks. Sprinkled through out the story were the words "failure" and "denial of failure."

If I heard correctly, some people, most likely thugs from the Bush junta, were calling Brown and the British turn over of Basra to the Iraqi's a failure.

Twweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!

Holy crap, what was that?

It was me!

And just who are you?

I'm Officer Timmy the Justice Tooth and I'm here to set the record straight on this "failure in Basra" nonsense.

Go right ahead dude.

Thanks, I will. The whole point of invading Iraq, if you believe what the Idiot in Chief said, was to topple Saddam and bring democracy to the region. They've had several elections and they have a government with a prime minister and Saddam and his cabal of cronies are gone. So what's the point of staying? Won't the Iraqi's have to take care of their own country sooner or later? Sure they will. So if you swallow what Bush and Blair pushed down your throats, then things in Basra been a smashing success! Those Brits did such a bang up job that the area is now safe (or maybe just war weary and tired as hell of being occupied by a foreign power) enough to turn over to the Iraqi's.

Gee Officer, I'd have to agree with you. Maybe we should let the Brits have control of Baghdad and the rest of the country so they can work their magic there as well.

Don't be silly Dr. Monkey, Halliburton, Blackwater USA, and KBR haven't made enough money yet so we can't let the Brits have the rest of Iraq. Why just think what would happen if we did, they'd probably go and allow Iraqi's themselves to rebuild their country and they might let them decide what to do with their oil revenues instead of allowing American oil companies to plunder their profits.

And Bush would like like an even bigger idiot than he did before...

Ummm, sorry Monkey, but that's not possible after the news about the NIE.

Thursday, December 6, 2007

Hey young lady...

...why are you so sad? Is it because it's cold outside?
Nope.
Is it because you have that haircut?
Nah, and I like this haircut by the way.
Sorry. Is it because you have lots of holiday gifts to buy and little money to buy them with?
No.
What's bothering you then?
The President of this country is an idiot who almost took us to war with Iran over a nuclear program they didn't have and he knew they didn't have it the whole time he was saying that crazy bull jive stuff and I think he should be impeached. But since Jesus didn't say nothin' about impeachment in the Bible, the poopy pants peons in Washington DC won't do anything to get rid of Bush. That's why I'm bummed out. Oh yeah, I'm also bummed out because my mom and dad work three jobs each to keep a roof over our heads and they pay a higher percentage of their income in taxes then the rich people and the corporations do. Oh yeah, and the fact that the politicians and racists and media pundits insist on persecuting the brown people who come to this country to work while they also demonize the poor has me pretty steamed too. And don't get me started on my boobs not growing any faster.
Ok then. (Sheesh, I'm sorry I asked.)
I heard that.
