Catching up with an old friend

HuluPLUS recently added all the Project Runway seasons that Lifetime has aired and I got to catch up on a couple of seasons that I missed when we cut cable and went to streaming.   We recently binge watched seasons 11 and 12 and here are some random thoughts and opinions on both:
I hated Michelle until about mid way through the season, then I just disliked her.  But in the end she was the best designer and she deserved to win, even though she was such a repellent catty bitch.  I hated myself for liking her designs and for finding her so hot.  I usually don't like all those visible tats, in a few years when gravity hit her body hard they're going to look even worse than they do now.  She was a twat on the show but she peaked at just the right time.

I liked Stanley a lot and he certainly made some chic designs but many of them did read old and he ended up peaking way early.  His collection was lux and lush but it was matronly.

I thought Kate got kicked off both season 11 and 12 way early.  In my opinion she should have went to fashion week in season 12 and not Alexandria.  My heart skipped a beat every time she flashed her cute little smile.

Speaking of season 12, I was surprised that this crazy fucker didn't stab someone before he got kicked off.  He was all sass and attitude and no talent.  That little stunt he pulled of making his new roommates wait in the doorway while he finished ironing his cut off jeans, I'd have dome exactly what Alexander did and then if he bitched about it, I'd have picked up that iron and stuffed it in his fat flapping yap.  I get it that he's had a hard life, being that gay in Alabama can't be easy. and add to that the fact that he's black, it must be super tough, I get it, but in New York, on Project Runway, he was among his 'people' and he should have been a lot nicer to them.

I have never hated a designer as much as I hated this asshole from Milwaukee.  His over the top constant crowing about how sustainable he and his fashion were, it made me vomit.  And the very idea that his model wasn't going to get her hair done or wear any make up for the first runway show, oh my fucking gawd, what a huge mistake.  He was a giant insufferable pain in the ass.  He gave all gay dudes a black eye with his 'I'll never not believe in unicorns' bullshit.  Thank goodness all the other gay male designers on seasons 11 and 12 had more talent and class than this fucking Bozo did.  Ugh.

And finally, I was over the moon when Dom won season 12.  She was not only super talented, she was gracious, ebullient, nice, and such a breath of fresh air after all many catty bitchy female winners that the show has had in the past.  I wish she did men's wear because I'd love to see what she'd come up with.  And she's so freaking beautiful.

Keepin' it real

It's time for another round of my opinions and takes on the reality shows I watch.

Top Chef:

This hasn't been a stellar season in Washington DC. And I hate most of the remaining chefs, except for this one:
(sigh) I hope my girl Tiffany goes all the way because she's the real deal, the total package, the gal who put the hot in 'If you can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen.' She gorgeous, has a great laugh, can cook the lights out, and did I mention she's hot? I hope she wins it all and then turns around and gives Padma a big ol' kiss and then they make out for about two hours while we get to watch. Oh sorry, did I write that last sentence out loud? Oops.

Project Runway:

I love this new season of PR. They've expanded the episodes to an hour and a half because after all, what the hell else do they run on Lifetime that's better than PR? Nothing. That's what. What I like best about these expanded episodes is they show us what goes on with the designers while the judges are deciding who stays and who goes. I love seeing the designers react when they find out who won and who's on the bottom.

So far this season I despise, I hate, I absolutely can not abide that twat Gretchen. And Ivy too. Both of them are delusional, self aggrandizing bitches who would back stab their own mothers to get ahead in the PR competition They can't be kicked off soon enough to suit me. I want them both gone ASAP.

My favorites this season are:
Valerie. Miss Hottie from Cleveland. She reminds me of my cute as a button friend Donna S. and she designs great looking clothes. She almost got sucked into the orbit of the bitch planet known as Gretchen but so far she has been able to fight off that madness. I hope she makes it to the end.
I also really like Mondo. He's an odd little dude who seems like he was born to be on this show. His personal look is weird, but it's a good weird, in fact if I had had more balls I probably would have dressed more like him back when I was younger. I like the stuff he's designed for his model so far and I hope he gets to the end as well.

Work of Art:
I was over joyed to see Abdi Farah win the whole thing. His art was consistently the strongest week after week and his final show was damn good. I was glad he beat out those two art school douchebags who had treated everyone so badly. And I was doubly glad to see him beat out Tits 'I hate the male gaze on my body so much so that I dress to attract it' McBitch. I'm already looking forward to the nest season of this show and I'm praying to the dark gods that spawned me that Sarah Jessica Horseface doesn't make any more appearances on it. And that Bravo stops running ads for those god awful housewives shows during every fucking commercial break.

That's a wrap

Project Runway 7 just ended and Seth Aaron won it.

Going purely by the designs they all showed in the last runway show they made the right decision. His collection was funky, fresh, and oozing cool. He stayed true to his design vision but he came up with some incredible looking clothes, the egg plant smuggling dress shown above was the lone clunker in his collection.
At the start of the show I was rooting for Mila, I tend to root for the older contestants these days, and her collection was smashing. Yes, she did a slew of black and white designs but she also threw in some silver and gray to mix things up. I think her lack of color was what kept her from winning.

As for Emilio's collection, I can sum it up in one word: DREADFUL. I got the feeling I had seen it all before and then mid way through seeing it I realized that I had indeed seen it all before...on the fucking Sopranos.

Yeah. Thought you'd see it too. His collection was awful, unless you're a Long Island mafia wife then it just screams 'Charm!'

So yeah, the judges made the right decision. Seth Aaron kicked his collection up several notches and he won fair and square.

Speaking of the judges, what the fuck was Faith Hill doing on there? I could see her judging a singing contest or a tractor pull or sexiest veggie contest, but the finale of Project Runway? The way she gushed all over Emilio's mafia wife collection of clothes told me all I ever need to know about her and her lack of taste.

And finally Jay showed himself to be a prissy cunt with his insulting remark to the lovely Cerri.
She rightly said that he designed for the tall willowy LA/Miami chick and not for someone with pale skin like her. And Jay took it personally. And he said didn't design for women with bad teeth and thick legs.
Jay, you're a one shot wonder dude. No one will ever see or hear from you ever again and this is how you go out? Have fun making clothes for all the addicts on skid row Nancy. Cerri shits more class out in the morning than you'll ever have in all your miserable bitchy life you low rent drama queen. Go fuck yourself you fucking loser.

I forgot to mention that this post contains spoilers. So if you Tivo-ed or DVR-ed the finale, then you may not want to read this post yet.

Jesus has left Project Runway

Yes, my beloved Project Runway is back on Lifetime, which means I have to suffer through endless promos for Army Wives and Drop Dead Diva in order to see my favorite talent based reality show. This season has seen some lame challenges so far but I don't care. I'm a fan of the show and I'll watch if they make the designers do the same challenge week after week.

As far as the ones who been kicked off so far, I was happy to see Ping, who obviously could not sew worth a damn, leave. I was also happy to see the deluded Jesus, that's pronounced Hay-Zeus for those of you who think I am engaging in more christian bashing, go. Yes, he had talent but his taste level was the same as a red neck chick who wishes she could wear her fringed Billy Ray Cyrus t shirt to work at Burger King every day. I was sad to see Anna go if only because she was so cute. It was kind of funny seeing her doing her best to try to avoid hugging Janeane after she found out she got axed. Her Midwestern passive aggressive avoidance of dealing with any emotion in public was screaming at her not to hug Janeane but finally Janeane reached out and forced the hug on the poor gal.

My favorites to go all the way are Maya and Emilio. Others who could sneak in the final three are Amy, Jay, and Jesse. I'm not a fan of Mila's but I can see the judges are. My favorite personality of this season is Anthony, the screamingly gay black guy from Alabama, I hope he sticks around until the end just because I find him funny and I love how he interacts with the other designers and the judges.

As far as the models go they eliminated the two I liked, Sophia and Sarah. And I'm no fan of Alexis and that bony blond Alison, which means of course they'll make it to the final three.

Make it work!

After months of telling me they didn't have it, I found this at my local comic book store today:
Again, I'm no fan of the superhero comics, but come on, it's Tim Gunn on the cover! How often in the famously hetero world of comic books do you see a gay man portrayed as a hero and on the cover of a nationally released comic book? Hardly ever, that's how often you see it.

This shows once again that Project Runway rules. Hell yes, it does.

Wrap ups

Top Chef wrap up:
My boy Kevin was not this season's top chef. But he should have been. He took simple ingredients and he spun gold out of them. He didn't go in for the fancy techniques or the over the top molecular gastronomy bullshit, he just worked smart and cooked good gourmet food. I hope his restaurant in Atlanta is packed every day that it's open.

The Voltaggio brother who won, meh. He was all sizzle and no steak. And he was a dick through out the competition. His brother was the better of the two chefs if you ask me.

Project Runway wrap up:
Hey Irina, good job on your collection hon. You gave all the little fashion conscious Goth girls and Twilight lovers something to aspire to. You took black to a new level of blackness. Your collection was the black hole of mediocrity if you ask me though. It's easy to use the same color over and over and it shows you have no sense of color and style. You trashed every body during the run of the show, especially Althea, and then you tried to act like you were best buds with her at the end. You'll do well in the cut throat world of fashion because you're such a fake bitch.

Carol Hannah should have won this season but alas, sometimes the best designers don't win it all.

College football 2009 (regular season):

My Michigan Wolverines stank it up, and so did Tennessee, USC, and Notre Dame.

Alabama and Florida both took advantage relatively weak SEC opponents and both cruised to the title game where Alabama handed Florida their ass on a silver platter. I was happy to see it even though I'm no fan of Alabama. I am a fan of seeing the previous years winner getting beat badly though. And I a huge fan of seeing Tim Tebow get his butt kicked by that Alabama defense, especially given the fact that he wore those things on his face with that bible verse on it. Jesus hates that shit Timmy boy. But he does love stuff like this:
Boo ya!

Runchefway update

Top Chef update:
  • I was sorry to see the lesbian with the funny eyebrows, Ashley, get booted off a few weeks back, I thought she was a much stronger chef than Robin or Eli.
  • Speaking of Robin and Eli, it was a toss up of who I hated more but now since the sight of that fat little repulsive bastard Eli makes me vomit it's safe to say that I would like to see him gone fairly soon.
  • I was glad to see Ash go because he was about the most milquetoast doormat of a guy I have ever seen on that show. I'm pretty sure he's never had an original thought in his life. I hope he'll always have someone around to tell him what to cook and what to think about things.
  • Yo Laurine, you really should have washed your hair before going to run the front of the house in the last installment of restaurant wars. Greasy is never a good look for someone who is working with the public.
  • And finally, you chefs may think all those tattoos make you look hip, trendy, and cool, but I'm here to tell you they don't really. They actually make me not want to eat food prepared by you. I'm afraid that one of those things may be infected and dripping pus into my food. Would it kill you people to cover those things up? (And there's no need to leave me any comments about how your tats are super cool and keen, I'm not into them but if you are then that's cool, I just don't want to see or hear all about them. Okay? Good.)
Project Runway:
  • How long will they keep Chris there? I'm beginning to think they're keeping him on the show just so they'll have someone to make fun of and mock. I liked his early designs but he's obviously peaked far too early. He's got to go.
  • Speaking of people who've worn out their welcome, Logan is still on the show and he's still making the most boring shit I've ever seen. Jeans and a fucking T shirt? Really Logan? That's your idea of Hollywood? Dude, you need to be designing shit for skate punks, second amendment conspiracy theorists, and redneck hipsters like Miley Ray Cyrus.
  • I was sad to see Shirin get booted. I thought she's a much better designer than Nicholas, who got booted last night thank goodness, Logan, and Christopher.
  • Irina is a talented designer but boy howdy is she a bitch or what.
  • I'm pretty sure Irina, Althea, and Carol Hannah will be in the final three. Or the eastern European chick could make it if she doesn't sabotage herself by not having any confidence in her work.
  • After having had that walking STD Lindsay Lohan on as a guest judge, I was glad to see they had an actress who is actually hot, Milla Jovovich, on the show last night. Milla exuded charm, wit, and grace, while Lindsay oozed stolen prescription meds, long days in a tanning bed, and sour malt liquor when she was on the show.
Oh yeah, this post may contain spoilers. So don't read it if you haven't seen the current episodes yet.

One for three (A Project Model Chef update post)

Dear Project Runway judges,

I'm sorry but you can't have it both ways. You can't bitch week after week that the designers are not pushing the creative envelope and then kick them off when one actually does push it. Sure, his sci fi dress wasn't the best thing Ra'Mon has ever done but it looked like it belonged in a sci fi movie.
Kicking him off was inexcusable. The brother is more talented than most any of the people still left, and that goes double for Louise and Logan, both of whom should have been booted this week. They both did boring work that was in no way in the same league creatively with Ra'Mon.

And while I'm at it, you judges got the winning design wrong as well. Christopher should have won. That dress he made was chic, stunning, and so fashion forward that people in the future will be pointing to it as an example of good timeless good design. By naming that fat faced greasy haired Nicholas the winner you have increased the amount of smarm he'll inflict on us in the future. He's already insufferable enough, of course he's one of those know it all New Yorkers who denigrates everything that did not come out of that city, so you've put us all on dangerous ground you Project Runway judges. Damn you!

Yours,
Dr. Monkey

Dear Project Runway designers,

What the feck were you thinking letting this woman go?

She is stunning and she'd look great in sack cloth and ashes. You let my girl Fatma go and you kept that boring bean pole Asian chick Celine with the bad hair cut? And you kept Kojii and that horrid Vanessa? Seriously? You all really fecked this one up.

I'm putting you all on notice. And you better not be letting my girls Tanisha and Kalyn, and Katie go.

Consider yourselves warned.

Warily yours,
Dr. Monkey

Dear sweet, sweet wonderful Top Chef,

I loved this weeks show beyond words. It was beautiful, wonderful, and fantastic. It was a joy to behold and a treasure for the eyes and ears. And do you want to know why I loved it so?

It's because it was a Gail Simmons free episode! Oh how I hate that pampered little rich girl and her attitude of entitlement. She strikes me as someone who has never worked a day in her life and yet who expects all those around her to work their asses off to please her. Her voice grates on my last nerve, if I were a contestant on your show and one critical word came out of her fish mouth in my direction I'd leap across that table and sever her vocal cords with a rusty tin can lid. And she's not attractive and yet she parades about as if she is. I don't take anything she says seriously and I can only hope that she's gone for good.

Thanks for bringing the Brit back. Toby Young rules. He's harsh but fair and super best of all, he's no Gail Simmons!
And in closing, thanks for getting rid of Haitian Chowder Man. He was over due to be axed and it was good to see him go. Next time let's concentrate of getting rid of Robin and Laurine.

Gleefully yours,
Dr. Monkey

PS: Please don't bring Gail Simmons back. Pretty please?

Lying liars: A Project Runway Update Post

It's about time that cry baby ex drug addict got booted off Project Runway. Face it Johnny, you sucked and you're a liar. Everyone knew your story about what happened to the first newspaper dress you made was a feckin' lie. You threw the first one away because Tim Gunn said he hated it. And he was right, it looked awful, although to be fair, it didn't look as bad as the one you made after you tossed the first one away.

But even though you lied and you put a shitty looking dress on the runway, what that fat faced New York City piece of sleaze Nicholas did to you on the runway was unforgivable. He knew he had made a piece of crap garment so he was trying to deflect attention from it. But to rat you out like that Johnny was a big ol' heaping helping of wrong. Too bad you didn't man up and have a sissy boy slap fight with him before you packed up your things and huffed off into the LA night with tears in your eyes.

Okay, I know literally none of you were waiting for this but I'm now ready to name the designers who I think will be in the final three:
Shirin

Althea

Christopher

They're the ones I'm rooting for to make the final three, so that means they'll get booted off next, that's usually how it works. I think Irina and Louise may also have a shot as well.

Logan and Epperson seem to me to be the worst designers still left. Both men's designs are meh, nothing special, and when enough of the weaker designers get booted, they'll be exposed and tossed off the show as well.

And finally, was I the only one who laughed at the poor models who cried when they found out their clique buddy, Emarie, was being tossed off the show? Suck it up ladies, your buddy Emarie wasn't all of that, in fact she wasn't any 'of that.' I'm still rooting for Fatima, Kaylen, and Katie.

Project Top Runway update

Good riddance Mitchell. Slink back to Savannah and let the 110 percent humidity melt the last of your "talent" away. Seriously dude, thanks for bringing the suck to this season's shows.
Hey fat faced NYC guy, I'm rooting for you to go next. The look on your face when they told you that your designs were among the lowest rated this week was beyond priceless. Just goes to show you that you don't know everything in the world.

Since my girl Erika walked, I'm now rooting for this exotic beauty to win the model portion of the competition. If she does win, I promise to learn her name.
Oh feisty fiery Fatma, how I love you so. You womaned up and realized you were wrong and you did the right thing in trying to apologize to Vanessa. It's not your fault she's an utter twat who would not accept your apology. You gave it, she would not accept it, now you may feel free to kick her butt if she fucks with you again. Logan was an idiot not to pick you. I hope you make it to the final three.

On to Top Chef.

I'd rather eat Draino while listening to Barry Manilow on the down low than put anything in my mouth made by these three 'chefs':

If these three are the best the commercial culinary world has to offer then it's a damn good thing we hardly ever eat out.

On the other hand, chefs I like so far include these two:
If beardy doesn't drop dead of a heart attack in one of those hot ass kitchens then he's got a good shot at going all the way. And the chick from Philly is a no nonsense gal who knows her way around food and the kitchen. I love the way she handled all the prima donna chefs in this past week's episode.

Project Runway and Models of the Runway update

It's finally back. My favorite 'reality' show, Project Runway.

The move to LA hasn't seemed to hurt it, other than the easy access it offers to slimy starlets like Lindsay Lohan that is. The move to Lifetime hasn't hurt it either, although I'm really hatin' on all the ads for Drop Dead Diva and Army Wives. It's still the same show with Tim and Heidi and all the bitchy designers, so far none of whom have leaped out at me like they have in season's past. Although having said that I really like the work so far of Althea and that brunette from Texas who won the latest challenge. And as usual, the designers from New York city act like they know everything and like they are god's gift to fashion.

The move to Lifetime has brought my beloved Project Runway one great new feature, and that great new feature is the spin off show Models of the Runway. Models shows us what goes on behind the scenes with the models on this years show. They dish on each other, the designers, and everything in between and each week they get chosen again by the designers so none of them are safe.

While I don't have a clear favorite designer yet, I've got two favorite models and they are:
Erika the red headed minx

and the lovely Tanisha.

Both are super hubba hubba and I hope both make it to the end because I'm not tired of seeing either of them yet. However I am already tired of seeing Vanessa Fitzgerald and I hope she gets cast aside next week, she reminds me of one of those women who's sense of entitlement is as big as the Grand Canyon and who expects us to bow down to her because she's 'pretty' and 'fragile.' Ick, she makes me sick.

Like last season I'll be doing my half assed recaps when I see fit and I have no intention of warning you if I put a spoiler in my updates. If I write about it before you see it, then tough titty. I know, I'm one mean mo-fro, deal with it.

Pop-servations

  • Hey did you know there are people who actually want to see Rebbecca Gayheart have sex? Me, I'd rather pour acid in my eyes and jab at my brain with an ice pick than watch that bug eyed murdering Kentucky redneck twit do most anything. I'll file her sex tape next to Paris Hilton's in the 'Things I'd watch only if someone shoved a shotgun up my ass and made me watch it' file.
  • Jeremy Piven says he hasn't eaten fish in 11 months and he feels great. Funny, I haven't seen a Jeremy Piven project in the same amount of time and I feel the same way.
  • John Travolta's and other 'A' list movie stars films are tanking at the box office. Hmmm, could it be because they all make crap movies today? If it's not a remake, based on a comic book, or a video game then 'A' list 'stars' don't want to be in it. It's no wonder people are staying away from that shit in droves. I'd rather watch paint dry than sit through a shitty remake of a good movie, and I'm looking at you Pelham 1,2,3.
  • Yo, people who get tattoos on your neck, once gravity really kicks in and your neck starts to sag, your now 'cool' tattoo is going to look like it's just a blob of ink. Or worse, it's going to look like you threw up and it all dribbled down your chin.
  • And ladies, one day that tramp stamp of yours that proclaims how 'Juicy' your ass is, is going to migrate south and it's going to look like you don't know how to wipe your ass.
  • Robert Zemeckis is going to remake Yellow Submarine using motion capture 3-D. Good idea Bob. Maybe one day if you remake all the shitty movies in the world in motion capture 3-D then people might actually see one of them.
  • Thank goodness Project Runway is back.
  • I'm glad Rick Bayless won Top Chef Masters. All three finalists were great chefs but week after week Bayless made the food that I most wanted to eat.
  • That Hasselback hag goes on maternity leave from The View and they get two conservative women, Megan McCain and E.D. "Terrorist Fist Pound" Hill, to fill in for her. Wow, way to stay liberal you big media outlets!

Congrats Leanne!

You just won the fifth and last season of Project Runway on Bravo, way to go girl! I'll admit I liked some other designers more than you but when I saw your collection I knew you'd win it.
Now please take a few hundred dollars of the $100,000 you just won and go get a decent hair cut. I'm serious hon, that mop you got just ain't cutting it. You need a hair do that is as chic and forward as your winning collection is.

For the last time let's do this once more

Warning this post contains spoilers. Do not read it if you have not seen the first two episodes of the new series of Project Runway.

Despite all their efforts to kill it before it moves to Lifetime, Bravo has begun running the latest installment of my favorite "reality" show, Project Runway. I'll do these wrap ups from time to time until the end of the series or until I get sick to death of them, whichever comes first.

After seeing the first two episodes I can safely say that I hate Suede. My chief reason for hating him is not because he refers to himself in the third person, it's because he refers to himself in the third person inconsistently, if you're going to do that shit then go all out and do it all the time Miss Suede. But no matter how much I hate him I recognize that he's got talent and he's going to be a source of "drama" so I'm betting they'll keep him until the end.

When they boot this talentless black hole of negativity I will sing and dance in the streets. Stella Ramone looks like a junkie, has an annoying New Yawk accent, has a piss poor attitude, and as much fashion talent as I do. Holy Jeebus I hate her. I hate listening to her whine, I hate looking at her emaciated face, I hate everything about her. If I could invent a time machine and go back in time to convince them to kick her off the first show when they should have I would. She makes my flesh crawl.

Blayne the Wonder Weasel is also on my shit list.
His one trick is to repeat the word "licious" over and over until you want to grab a blunt object and bash Blayne's brains in. From his first two "designs" I have deduced that he should have spent less time shooting up heroin and more time paying attention to the instructors when he was in fashion school.

The first two people to get bounced, the Asian guy with the bad hair and the young preppy guy with the bad attitude, both deserved to go. They both stank like a shell fish salad that had been left in a hot car for two weeks.

Okay, that's enough hate, let's move on to who I like this time around.

I like both the women of color this time around. Korto rocked the first challenge but the second time around she came up short. I think she's got more great designs in her but she needs to stop letting the judges opinions make her cry. You knew they were going to criticize everyone at some point sugar, get over it. Hitch up your big girl panties and learn from your mistakes.

I thought Terri got robbed in the first challenge. Her top made from mop heads looked far and away better that the coffee filter boob thingy dress that won and she wasn't even in the top three. She was robbed I tells ya, robbed! I'm rooting for her to go far, which is usually the kiss of death, just ask the black gal from last year and Greek Nick from two years ago.

I'm kind of diggin' on Kenley hard. I like her look and her design on this week's episode was really good looking. She seems nice and easy going.
I hope she goes far as well.

There's lots of episode left before this last season of Project Runway on Bravo ends so stick around and we'll see what happens as we continue on the Bataan death march to Lifetime.

The love list (TV edition)

I need to balance out the negativity from the previous post so now I bring you the list of things I'm currently lovin' like crazy on TV:
1) John Kruk on ESPN.
Kruk is the fat guy who made it. He's like the beery loud mouth guy who always has a dirty joke and a spare buck or two if you need it, in other words he's the fun guy who made good. I get the feeling that he's having a blast being on TV even if he has to put on a suit. And I also get the feeling he does Baseball Tonight pants less.
2) Speaking of ESPN, I'm loving Keith Olbermann on MSNBC more than ever. When Keith says, "Special comment," I hear "Must see TV!"

3) Oh how I love this show:
I thank the dark gods that spawned me that season three is out now on DVD.

4) Sundance Channel. Specifically the environmental programming on Sundance. And Doc Day. And Asian horror movies on Sunday night at midnight. Oh hell, I love it all. Sundance Channel is everything BBC America is not.

5) The current Big Break on the Golf Channel. I love the ladies they've got on this series, especially this piece of French pastry:

I've got to remember to watch it on Tuesday nights.
6) I don't watch Desperate Housewives, I'm just glad Dana Delany is back on TV.

7) I have no idea if Daphne Zuniga is even on TV anymore, but here's a picture of her anyway.
If she's not on TV now, she should be. I always thought she should have had a bigger career than she has had up to now.
8) FLIX Channel. It's a free movie channel that shows uncut older movies from the past four decades. I saw Choose Me again on it the other night. I'm grateful for any channel that shows Alan Rudolph films, especially ones with Leslie Ann Warren and Rae Dawn Chong in them.

9) Tim and Eric's Awesome Show and Tom Goes to the Mayor. I love Tim and Eric, most people hate them with a vengance but not me, I get them.
10) July can not come fast enough for me, for July brings:

Project Runway 5! Or as it will become known 'the last good season of Project Runway before the Lifetime network fucked it all up.'

Bonus entry on the love list:
11) Jamie Pressley on My Name Is Earl. She is pitch perfect on this show and if you crossed two of my skanky southern cousins then you'd get the character she plays on Earl. Her line about staying up with the kids when they wake up crying for more Mountain Dew is a masterpiece of comic timing and delivery.
