The love list (TV edition)

I need to balance out the negativity from the previous post so now I bring you the list of things I'm currently lovin' like crazy on TV:
1) John Kruk on ESPN.
Kruk is the fat guy who made it. He's like the beery loud mouth guy who always has a dirty joke and a spare buck or two if you need it, in other words he's the fun guy who made good. I get the feeling that he's having a blast being on TV even if he has to put on a suit. And I also get the feeling he does Baseball Tonight pants less.
2) Speaking of ESPN, I'm loving Keith Olbermann on MSNBC more than ever. When Keith says, "Special comment," I hear "Must see TV!"

3) Oh how I love this show:
I thank the dark gods that spawned me that season three is out now on DVD.

4) Sundance Channel. Specifically the environmental programming on Sundance. And Doc Day. And Asian horror movies on Sunday night at midnight. Oh hell, I love it all. Sundance Channel is everything BBC America is not.

5) The current Big Break on the Golf Channel. I love the ladies they've got on this series, especially this piece of French pastry:

I've got to remember to watch it on Tuesday nights.
6) I don't watch Desperate Housewives, I'm just glad Dana Delany is back on TV.

7) I have no idea if Daphne Zuniga is even on TV anymore, but here's a picture of her anyway.
If she's not on TV now, she should be. I always thought she should have had a bigger career than she has had up to now.
8) FLIX Channel. It's a free movie channel that shows uncut older movies from the past four decades. I saw Choose Me again on it the other night. I'm grateful for any channel that shows Alan Rudolph films, especially ones with Leslie Ann Warren and Rae Dawn Chong in them.

9) Tim and Eric's Awesome Show and Tom Goes to the Mayor. I love Tim and Eric, most people hate them with a vengance but not me, I get them.
10) July can not come fast enough for me, for July brings:

Project Runway 5! Or as it will become known 'the last good season of Project Runway before the Lifetime network fucked it all up.'

Bonus entry on the love list:
11) Jamie Pressley on My Name Is Earl. She is pitch perfect on this show and if you crossed two of my skanky southern cousins then you'd get the character she plays on Earl. Her line about staying up with the kids when they wake up crying for more Mountain Dew is a masterpiece of comic timing and delivery.
