I have to chuckle at the outrage over the annual non endangered whale hunt that goes on in the Faroe Islands.  All sorts of people get super mad at the Faroe Islanders for harvesting a natural local food source, they get so mad in fact that they nearly choke on their bacon burgers and chicken nuggets.

Today in stupidity

• Glenn Beck says that because white people voted for her husband, Michelle Obama isn't allowed to talk about how racism has affected her.  Makes about as much sense as the other drivel that pops out of his dumb mouth.
• A woman in New Zealand who got lost in the woods for 24 hours survived by drinking the two liters of water she had carried with her, by eating a energy bar she had with her, and by drinking her breast milk.  What a heroic thing to do after being lost for 24 hours.  I wonder how long it would take her to resort to cannibalism if she got lost with another human being, two, three, four days?
• George Zimmerman finally pulled his gun on someone who was also packing heat and he got shot at for waving his gun at them.  God damn it guy who pulled his gun on Zimmerman, you need to work on your aim since your bullet hit Zimmy's windshield and nothing else.
• Gomer Huckabee sas all his commercial endorsements are above reproach. 

Let's see that cowardly Texas vet go after this cat with a bow and arrow

The Grand Old Stupid Party

Give them a majority in Congress and Republican proceed to get downright stupid.  Cases in point:

• A freshman US Senator in NC thinks that restaurant employees shouldn't have to wash their hands and that laws that say they do are intrusive regulation.
• A morbidly obese bully, the governor of New Jersey, thinks that parents should have the right to not vaccinate their kids. 
• The freshman US Senator from KY says that vaccines can cause serious health problems and therefore parents should not vaccinate their kids if they don't want to.
• Future political footnote black conservative Ben Carson thinks all those illegal alien Mexican kids are causing the measles outbreak, when in fact it's been shown conclusively that it's being caused by white kids from rich families in California. 
• And of course Gomer Huckabee, the man who's son stoned and then hung a dog until it was dead and who tried to board an airplane with a loaded handgun, thinks Obama is a bad parent because he lets his daughters listen to Beyonce.  Oh, he also thinks that Christians shouldn't dance as well.

And this is all in addition to their evolution denying and refusal to accept that we humans are causing out climate to change.

I got called a Communist, a fascist, a half wit, and ignorant moron on Facebook the past two days.  And what did I do to earn all that name calling?  I told people that Hillary Clinton was right when she said that businesses don't create jobs, demand for goods and services creates jobs.  That's not leftist, or rightist, liberal or conservative, it's fact.  It's economics 101.  In fact, it's free market economics 101.

After I pointed that out, a Ron Paul supporter said, "I demand you create jobs.  Did that work?  No."  Meaning of course that I'm wrong and that demand doesn't create jobs.

Check your hate at the door you entitled white pricks

The level of hate that's being directed at Muslims and brown skinned people is off the charts in this country.  And the most troubling aspect of it is a lot of it is coming from allegedly liberal 'enlightened' white people.

To claim that all Muslims are responsible for the acts of extremists who use that religion as a cover for their cowardly acts of murder, mayhem, misogyny, and more is absurd.  Not all Muslims want to convert us at gun point or kill us if we refuse their backward ass Bronze age religion and to say they do is insanity on all levels.  It's like saying that all Norwegians  and all Christians are to blame for the murders Anders Breivik committed in the name of Christianity.   It's like saying that all Christians are to blame for the murder of Dr. George Tiller or the bombings carried out by Eric Rudolph.

I have nothing but disrespect, scorn, and a lack of belief in all religions, especially the Bronze age big three that have plagued us from their inception, but I'm not stupid enough to think that all those who believe in them are hateful terrorists out to convert or kill me.  Get the fuck over yourselves white liberal America.

Humanity is doomed

Today's reasons why humanity is doomed:

• conservative blogs are claiming the murder of our ambassador to Libya was due in part to the Obama administration's refusal to let Marines who guard our embassies around the world use live ammunition.
• elected officials in Kansas say they may remove Obama from their state's ballot because they aren't satisfied that he was born in the USA.
• Michele Bachmann, Tony Perkins, Pat Robertson, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld still walk the earth.
