- It's okay for people living under dictatorships that we helped create and then propped up for years to demonstrate and bring down the intolerable rulers who enslave them but when people in this country demonstrate against the big banks and corporations who keep us enslaved it's fine to call out the riot squads, tear gas us, and beat us with batons?
- It's perfectly acceptable for us to invade two sovereign nations, over throw their leaders, who we at one time helped stay in power, and then spend billions to rebuild their countries that we bombed to shit but there's not any money to go to rebuild our schools, highways, bridges, parks, national monuments, and to keep teachers, cops, and firemen employed?
- We've got to do everything possible to make sure women carry babies to term even if they can't afford to feed them, clothe them, and meet their basic human needs?
- It's fine to run off people who are willing to do back breaking soul crushing labor because our prisons are full of poor folks who should be somehow earning their keep?
- We're supposed to rally 'round a Republican president in a time of war. But then if a Democrat inherits that war from his Republican predecessor it's now acceptable to call into question his every move and decision?

Let me get this straight...

And now, here's a very special guest post by a disciple of Dr. Keith Ablow
Hello interwebs world, I'm Veranda Shellac and I've been seeing Dr. Keith Ablow on a professional basis for years now. He's like my life coach, so I know him pretty darn well. Liberals, gays, and other smarty pants persons are going after the good doctor for comments he made about that he/she daughter of Sonny Bono. Dr. K, as I call him, said parents shouldn't let their kids watch that he/she on Dancing with The Degenerates on ABC. The thing is interwebs people, Dr. K is correct. And you know what, here's some other things that Dr. K says parents shouldn't let their children do:- Mate with one another, unless you live in eastern Kentucky or most of West Virginia.
- Get chainsaw enemas.
- Play with fire.
- Attend college level classes on evolutionary theory.
- Question anyone who is older than them.
- Challenge authority.
- Shave their privates.
- Wax nostalgic or their shaved privates.
- Write snarky blog posts about what Dr. Keith Ablow thinks.
- Compare Dr. Ablow's looks to those of Lex Luthor or that hunky Mr. Clean.
- Use any web browser other than Firefox 2.0.
- Indulge in satisfying the cat with a dart when the poor thing is in heat and needing 'it' bad.
- Drinking shoe polish.
- Poking Negroes or Tex-Mexicans with sharp sticks.
- Offer spoiled shellfish for sale.

Beside the point
You're a naive babe in the woods if you think our government isn't behind the 'sex crimes' that the Swedish government is trying to hang Julian Assange with. Our government is beside itself with anger that their dirty little secrets are being leaked and since they can't go after everybody who has had a hand in this case, their going after the head of the organization, Assange.Let's break down what they're accusing Assange of:
- having consensual sex with a woman without using a condom.
So what they want to do is to label Assange a threat, even though none of the cables he leaked put any lives in danger. And they want to label him as a pervert or a sex criminal to get women against him. And our government is behind this because they don't want us peons and worker drones knowing anything that goes on at the highest levels of state. They want their high handed treatment of our so called allies to go unnoticed. They want their contempt of us and the rest of the world concealed. They want to continue to go on running things without any of us challenging them or trying to make them accountable. They say they want truth but they only want their version of it to be consumed by us. They desperately want us to not notice that a Democratic administration is not very different a Republican administration when it comes to treating people like shit and acting on the national and international with nothing but contempt for the rule of law and the laws of other countries, it's corporations uber alles all the time.
They say that sunlight is the best disinfectant, but they want to keep their dealings dirty and under cover of the darkness by silencing Wikileaks. No corporate media outlet was going to give us the story, except for maybe Democracy Now!, so Wikileaks stepped in to fill the void. And that pisses off our military prison media industrial complex and they'll stop at nothing to silence Assange and his crew. Mark my words, they'll try to make a criminal out of anyone who supports Wikileaks or who has read anything they put out. And that suppression will go hand in hand with the new McCarthyism that Steve King and Michelle Bachman and the cast of FOX Noise will try to institute come next year when the Republicans take over the House of Representatives.
They're bringing back the 1950's all right, the worst parts of it that is.
Assange is a hero and Wikileaks is a treasure trove of the truth...FREE JULIAN!

Same difference?
If the corporate media had paid as much attention and did as many stories on the anti war protest movement
than they do to the teabaggers,
then perhaps the war would be winding down sooner and more lives, Afghan, Iraqi, and American, would have been spared. After all, more people opposed the war and the war criminal presidency of George W. Bush than support the teabagging movement.
More people opposed this country attacking Iraq than voted for Bush McCain and Theocratic Barbie. More people took to the streets to call for the impeachment of Bush/Cheney than marched with loaded weapons on the anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing the other day.
But you'll never ever hear those things mentioned on the corporate media news pundit channels, especially Fox. And they'll also never ever tell you how their audience is shrinking as more and more people turn off their TV's and search out news and opinion on the internet.

War of terror update
Liz Cheney will soon say that it's a shame that it wasn't the American military who arrested the American Al Qaeda spokesman and since it was the Pakistanis that arrested him it means that the Obama administration is not serious about fighting terrorism and we're all going to die a horribly painful death very very soon.

What's worse...
...a mother who doesn't have the kid who committed statutory rape on her young daughter prosecuted,
or a guy who made a joke about her daughter who got knocked up when she had unprotected sex before she was of legal age to do so?Spare all of us your phony outage Ms. Palin. You should be outraged at Levi for raping the daughter you paraded around for your political benefit. It's Letterman's job to make fun of you and it was your job to make sure your own daughter didn't get knocked up before she got married. You struck out, Dave knocked a home run.
