I have government run health care, Traitor Joe has it, and so should you

That's right. I have government run health care. I'm on Medicare. And before I had Medicare, I had TN Care, which was the TN version of Medicaid (they've since killed TN Care which is a shame because it paid for 100% of my open heart surgery). Medicare is good but it's not great. And I pay for it as well. The premiums are taken out of my SSDI checks every month. Every citizen in this country should be able to have what I have.

But in a more perfect world, we'd all have the same health care they have in Congress. You know, the plan Traitor Joe has. The plan he's fighting like hell to keep anyone else from getting. Which is not only a shame, it's a fucking crime if you ask me. That bastard was re-elected because he promised that he'd work for getting people health care. He promised he'd work to expand Medicare. But he's gone back on those promises. He's all in on the side of the insurance companies because they give him money to get re-elected and you poor people who aren't on government run health care like he is don't give him any so fuck you.

Maybe if everyone became an insurance company he'd work to protect you. If you gave him some cold hard cash that is. I hope you idiots who believed his lies in the last Senate race in CT are happy. You managed to not only fuck your state, you got the rest of the country's ass nailed by your traitor of a Senator as well. It's a shame that one filthy rich lying prick can derail health insurance for so many. I hope there is a hell so that when he dies he can get ass fucked by Jerry Falwell for all eternity there.

Do me a favor and don't tell Traitor Joe that I'm only 47 and on Medicare, if that bastard hears that news he'll start a campaign to get me tossed off it.

After all the shit the Blue Dog 'Democrats' put us through over this thing and now Lieberman's treachery, do you really need any more convincing that the US Senate has been bought and paid for by the multi national corporations? Almost every member of the US Senate is beholden to some corporation and they put their interests in front of ours every single time.

Shame on you Connecticut for returning that snake to the Senate. Shame on you Harry Reid for letting him keep his chairmanship and seniority on all his old committees. And shame on us for letting corporations have so much control over our politics and our lives.

Traitor Joe strikes again

Lieberman now says that there is no need for health insurance reform until we're out of the recession that he helped bring about. That kind of bullshit sounds to me like the idiots in the NRA who crow after every school shooting that, "Now is not the time to talk about gun control."

Party of incumbency

Calm down all you Democrats, liberals, and progressives. Arlen Specter switching to the left side of the Senate is good news but don't expect much out of the whole thing. You see my politically naive naifs once elected to a position of power in Washington DC most people abandon all their campaign promises and principles so that they can keep getting re-elected. Now I know there are some exceptions like Dennis Kucinich (my hero!), Russ Feingold, and master of sleaze Saxby Chambliss, the man who never met a corporate lobbyist he didn't want to blow so he could keep taking their money for ever and ever amen. The point is Specter now thinks that seat in the Senate is his because he's been there since the early 1980's and by god he's not going to let a little thing like party affiliation get in his way of hanging on to it until he can appoint his divinely chosen heir.


Yes, if he votes with Democrats on big issues like health care, ending the wars of terror, and the Employee Free Choice Act, which he can now support since he's not got to worry about a Repube-lican primary fight, then it will be a good thing. But if he continues to vote like he has during the Bush years then we're all screwed, blued, and tattooed.


There is one more thing that may happen as a result of Specter's switch. I'm betting that this douchebag
will now join his BFF John McCain and become a Repube-lican. It's something that I would not put past his traitorous ass, because after all we've seen time and again that these slimeballs we keep sending back to the Senate will do anything they can to cling to power.
