Sarah Palin's motherhood lessons

Here's Sarah Palin's Mother's Day Twitter thingy:
Okay Sarah.

Well played.

I'm not sure who you stole that line from but I know you stole it from somewhere because you've never had an original thought in that head of yours. However, despite that fact, you have taught us all some important lessons about motherhood from your actions the past few years and here's the main ones:
  • It's okay to be a quitter.
  • It's fine to preach about public service but it's even better to quit public service if you have a big book deal and a 'news' network who is ready to pay you hundreds of thousands of dollars to be an 'analyst.'
  • Never accept responsibility for anything, blame the media and non evangelicals for all the problems you caused.
  • It's bad when other people's kids have children out of wedlock but it's okay if yours does.
  • Use your kids for political props but then when other people call you on it it's cool to say they are attacking your kids and evangelical Jesus.
  • Being two faced and hypocritical is a virtue.
  • Being catty is fine as long as you're conservative politically.
  • Jesus only loves conservative white politicians and their families.
  • Revising historical fact is totally awesome as long as you do it to suit your political agenda.
  • One must always blame one's lack of knowledge on someone else, preferably the 'lame stream media.'
You're a real mom all right Ms. Palin. You're so real and dear to certain people in fact, that I'd go so far as to call you a 'mommy dearest.'

I'll get flamed for this, but what the hell.

"Sarah Palin is a mom who seeing there are only 4 pieces of pie for 5 people, promptly announces Trig doesn't need pie anyway."

Gotta thank whoever wrote in crayon on her hand the phrase "lame stream media". It hit the mark, but not how she tries to tell it. I think that's a good description of most of the media especially for the last decade. They(the media) have given the Right a free ride for so long that when someone actually asks a talking head to explain their talking points, you almost want to cheer!! Doesn't happen ofter enough.

The quote is originally from an author named Tenneva Jordan. It's pretty well-known so I don't imagine she was even trying to pretend she made it up...or maybe she did.And your quotes for Sara were even lovelier

Yep, Tenneva Jordan. I know because I saw the quote - with attribution - on a coffee mug. Makes perfect sense for a woman who quotes fridge magnets.

A Republican is one who sees four pieces of pie, and five people, and blames Barack Obama.

Ever since she got on that long airplane flight after her water broke even though it was a high risk pregnancy, I've thought Sarah Palin was a bad mother. Trotting out Trigg only makes it worse. She's so awful she takes away my sense of humor - until I think of her twirling.

C'mon guys. She only has 140 characters. Attribution to Tenneva Jordan means too many letters. She already truncated "mother" to "mom" and used numerals instead of words - and used quotation marks.

Does anyone want a president (or any other political leader) who can't adequately manage letters?
