I am quite the fashion plate

Yes, I did wear that dark blue plaid shirt with those light plaid shorts. Sometimes I wish I had kids so I could embarrass them with my clothing choices.

I remember when I was a young teen, and my family had taken an RV roadtrip across country to California (it was a freaking nightmare) and when we were in Yellowstone, a cold front moved in (as can happen in those parts) so my Dad went to the gift shop to by a sweatshirt. He comes out, big smile on his face, with a baby blue sweatshirt 2 sizes too small, with 'Yellowstone Adventure Club' written across the chest. My brothers and sisters busted up laughing, but I think the most angry and embarrassed was my Mom! She made him take it off right away (she was miserable on this trip, and made sure we all were to, it's how Irish Americans show our love, if we didn't love you, we would ignore you altogether). Good times, good times.

Your girlfriend is blind?

**Your girlfriend is blind?**

Last I saw her, she still had the "gift" of vision, but she was ever hopeful it would fail her, soon.

Wear them with black socks and sandals and you'll fit right in with the older crowd at the beach!

I think it's lovely and I wish I had it for my teenage daughters. It doesn't matter what I wear really, it all embarrasses them. Being fashionable (as you can imagine I must be) is actually worse. They think it a tremendous waste of effort.

Devilham-That sounds like one of our family vacations.

Beth-Of course she is blind, how do you think I snared her in the first place?

Snad-That's enough out of you.

Freida-Ah the joys of parenting!

There's blue in both of them- I say they match.
Good for you for choosing a "vision-impared" girl as your partner. Smart move.
