Don't fence me in, because Fox News can't see me if you do

So Quitter Palin made her hubby Todd put up a fence to keep Joe McGinniss's prying eyes away from the nubile bodies of her children. How very "protective" of her.
The endeavor gave Todd something to do besides guarding the baby making holes of his screechy wife. And it kept him off his snowmobile, which the grass of Alaska is thankful for.

But honestly Quitter, this isn't about some well known author of true crime books peeping on you and Bristol, and Trig, and Skate, and Pony Boy, and Jimmy Sue, and Digger, and the rest of your clan. No one but you gives a shit about your kids, and by the way you chase the almighty dollar, I'm not sure you really give a shit about them either.

Everybody knows this is about you doing what you do best, playing the martyr. You did it so well during your abortion of a campaign with Old Man McCain, I mean how dare the press ask you what newspapers you read? We all knew you only read the ones that do stories about you, and only flattering ones at that. Your martyrdom grew after you saw that you couldn't cash in on your sudden fame if you stayed in office so you did what people like you do do best in the face of adversity, you quit your job and blamed the media and mean ol' liberals for making you do it. Hell girl, you learned the lesson that you've got to exploit the conservative dullards while the iron is hot.

What's going on in your neighborhood isn't about some old guy stalking and peeping on your kids, heck McCain did that enough to last them a life time. What it's all about Ms. Quitter, is the fact that you're afraid that you'll be exposed for the dolt you are. You spout aphorisms that you heard someone else say that got a huge response by the intellectual midgets you claim to represent. The fact that you speak in code and think it's the height of intelligence, is an insult to anyone with a gram of intelligence. You live in fear that your minions will turn on you and that the media you so love to despise but which you secretly love will actually stop treating you with kid gloves.

McGinniss's book will be what your 'news' network isn't, fair and balanced. It'll be full of those things you hate so much, facts. It will contain interviews with people who have known and worked with you. It will contain stories and anecdotes that can be double and triple checked.

Remember Quitter, you're a celeb now. You're fair game for whoever wants to write a book about you and your life. This is still, after all, a feee country where writers can still pick and choose who to write books about. You wrote a book about your life, so why shouldn't other people? It's un-American to deny someone the chance to pursue their work. You're all about being American aren't you Quitter? Or have you quit on that too?

Sarah Palin's motherhood lessons

Here's Sarah Palin's Mother's Day Twitter thingy:

Well played.

I'm not sure who you stole that line from but I know you stole it from somewhere because you've never had an original thought in that head of yours. However, despite that fact, you have taught us all some important lessons about motherhood from your actions the past few years and here's the main ones:

• It's okay to be a quitter.
• It's fine to preach about public service but it's even better to quit public service if you have a big book deal and a 'news' network who is ready to pay you hundreds of thousands of dollars to be an 'analyst.'
• Never accept responsibility for anything, blame the media and non evangelicals for all the problems you caused.
• It's bad when other people's kids have children out of wedlock but it's okay if yours does.
  
• Use your kids for political props but then when other people call you on it it's cool to say they are attacking your kids and evangelical Jesus.
• Being two faced and hypocritical is a virtue.
  
• Being catty is fine as long as you're conservative politically.
• Jesus only loves conservative white politicians and their families.
• Revising historical fact is totally awesome as long as you do it to suit your political agenda.
• One must always blame one's lack of knowledge on someone else, preferably the 'lame stream media.'

You're a real mom all right Ms. Palin. You're so real and dear to certain people in fact, that I'd go so far as to call you a 'mommy dearest.'

Feeding time is over

I refuse to give talk radio hate merchants, failed governors of Alaska, and opinion show hosts on Fox any more publicity on this blog. Most of them say shit just to get people riled up and I'm not taking their bait. I'm going to continue to ignore the blotchy faced Irish guy, the crybaby Mormon with a crew cut, Quitter Palin (unless she runs for public office then all bets are off and I'll write about her lack of qualifications until the cows come home), and the troika of the fat drug addict, the skinny blond, and the hateful Filipino chick who's parents came to this country illegally.

My position is that if I give their rants any post time on my blog then that makes them seem like they have valid points worth caring about. Saying their names gives them power and makes them stronger. Attacking their nonsense mere spreads their nonsense, so I'm not going to do it. I'm going to ignore them.

That's not to say that I am going to ignore the issues they rave about. If they touch on an issue that I feel passionate about I'll write about it here but I won't mention them.

These people who I won't mention anymore are charlatans and hucksters. They are out there to appeal to the lowest common denominator among us and they prey on the fear that Bush/Cheney stoked in people. And like all fakes and hucksters they'll get what's coming to them, a public shaming before their careers explode while they are being led off in handcuffs for whatever crimes they're sure to commit.

I've had enough of right wing and corporate media hate, it's time to move on from that bullshit. It's time to ignore those who bring nothing but hate and blame to the table and instead to listen to those who actually have constructive opinions and ideas.
