I'm in love with two blogs right now. And they are:

1. Grantbridge Street & Other Misadventures. It's a blog that features scans of comic book stories and pretty women. If you don't like comics that are aimed at adults and pictures of beautiful women then don't check it out. But if you like stories written and drawn by people like Walt Simonson, Archie Goodwin, Jack Kirby, Brian Bolland, Milo Manara, and if you like 'fit birds' as the author of the blog calls them, then check out this great blog.
   
2. Cowgirl Chef. She's a Texas gal who lives in France and she cooks and shares her recipes and she's cute as a button and she's on Facebook too. If you hate good food, then you'll hate her blog. If McDonald's and Cici's Pizza are your thing, then her blog won't be your thing. However, her thing is just my kind of thing.

My most learned friend Dr. Joseph Fitsanakis wrote this great article. He is a well respected worldwide authority on intelligence matters. Why he and his equally brilliant wife consent to hang around Sparky and I sometimes is a mystery to me.

Oh yeah, he also writes for this great blog as well. Go check it out some time.

No, thank you

Accolades have been coming at me faster than Congressional and White House Democrats and capitulate to Republicans and corporate interests. And after ignoring them for so long I figured I better be a gracious monkey and accept these awards and thank the senders of them.

A feast for the eyes

I love the blog called things magazine. It's a blog that has links to a lot of other blogs that feature kick ass eye popping pictures. Through it I found this blog which featured all these great pieces of modern art and graphic design:

I wish she were my Granny

I'm not sure if this blog is really written by an 80 yr old woman or not, nonetheless I've still got a blog crush on it. I found it through a friend from college that I reconnected with on Facebook. It turns out that this old friend of mine has thrown off the shackles of conservatism (we went to a very small conservative christian college) and has become a tree hugging vegetarian. I always knew she had it in her.

Attention must be paid

There is a distinctly weird but great voice out in the blogosphere that some of you may not be hearing. That voice is telling trying to tell you about the things it sees through it's filter. This voice is not for every one, and some of you may well hate it, but I urge you all to heed the voice of Romius T. Go, read his blog and behold one of the most different and yet funny and important viewpoints in the world. Don't worry kids, he does not post with the same frequency as I do, he sometimes posts just once or twice a month. But when he does post, it's sublime. He'll get all, "You're crazy to like my shit so much Doc." But I'm telling you, he should be writing for, and for all I know maybe he does and he's just using his blogs to hone his mad skillzzz, TV and the movies.


I've said too much. Go, read his blogs and then maybe you'll understand why I say that when I grow up I want to write like him.
