I know you're asking yourself, "Why should I boycott those companies Dr. Monkey? What do they have in common?"
The thing they have in common is they are paying for air time on television show of this hate monger:
The thing about right wing hate media is that it drives some of it's crazier adherents to kill. O'Reilly is guilty of inciting murder just as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. The man who stepped into that Unitarian church in Knoxville who opened fire and killed those people was whipped in to an anti liberal hatred that was fomented by Bill O and his gang of right wing parrots, especially Bernard Goldberg. The man had books by all FOX Noise talking heads in his house and in his would be suicide note he said explicitly that he wanted to kill liberals and if he could he would kill all the people on Bernard Goldberg's list of people who he and O'Reilly thought were harming America. But did either of them, O'Reilly or Goldberg, apologize for their role in inciting this mainiac to murder? No. Did either of them acknowledge their culpability? Nope. They ignored the story and their roles in it. Then Bill O went on to whip his viewers into a frenzy over Dr. Tiller and once again an unhinged FOX Noise lover and "good Christian" hero took Billy boy's harangues to their logical conclusion and he murdered Dr. Tiller. Now he wants to paint the Holocaust Musuem murderer as a left winger. Well folks, some of us have had enough. I've joined the boycott of companies that advertise on FOX Noise, especially the ones who advertise on Bill O'Reilly's show.
I've been in the market for a window unit air conditioner for a month now. We have central heat and air but our house stays cool through out the day, except for our upstairs bedroom. So instead of turning the air on just to cool one room, I figured we'd leave the main unit off and get a window unit for the bedroom, it's more energy efficent and cheaper in the long run. So I was in Best Buy the other day before Ms. Zipdrive posted about boycotting FOX, I saw a unit I liked, and I was prepared to buy it when Tuesday, the 16th, rolled around. But once I joined the boycott I was not about to fork over $189 to Best Buy. Oh hells to the no. I took my money elsewhere and I bought essentially the same unit for $40 less and none of my money is going to go to FOX Noise or Bill O'Reilly. I am going also to boycott local businesses who advertise on O'Reilly, that means you Spotless Carpet Cleaners, and I'm going to call Best Buy's corporate office to tell them that they lost out on my $189 and that we in the progressive movement are leading a boycott against them.
They have the right to advertise when and where they like, and I have the right not to buy a god damn thing from them and to tell others to do the same as long as they prop up hate mongers and accomplices to murder like Bill O'Reilly. Join the boycott and tell the companies why you're boycotting them, make them pay for their support of the murderous hate mongering fiends.

Wow, it sounds like a horrid show. I'm glad I have been away from Fox to be unaware of the current crap they are perpetuating.
I have a trip to the US planned next week. We spend a lot of money during our trips, stocking up on missed favorites. But I will be bringing this list and participating in this boycott.
This will be a piece of cake. I don't use any of those companies products or services.
I've been calling some of these companies and complaining about Fox and it feels very empowering.
The word boycott really catches their attention, especially when they get a dozen calls a day.

Everyone knows that FOX is a joke.....
People boycot McDonalds for "this" reason and Walmart for "that" reason, etc.(example: animal rights, sweatshops, they use plastic bags, they have trans fats, they are pro life, etc.) after a while there will be no where to shop and no where to go since every place supports SOMETHING I dont like !!!

Thanks for passing on this list. Consider these businesses boycotted. Such an eloquent post about the VILE, ABOMINATION of O'Reilly. Now I have to go purge.
Wow, I am going to have to call Dawn and Comcast - they are the only two I can't live without.
But, isn't it hard for Comcast because they also PAY to have Fox News on their lineup?
American Express can burn in H-E double toothpicks for reasons too numerous to mention here.
And being Minnesotan I can tell you - you can get ANYTHING cheaper and with more servicer ANYWHERE other than Best Buy.
They stink.
If FOX really wants to raise money, they can charge people to punch Bill O'Reilly in the face.
But now I'm inciting people to violence.
If you keep inciting people to violence Ubie, I'll have to boycott you and your sponsors. ;0)

The only one of those I have bought anything from for several years is comcast cable. That comes with the apartment rent, and I haven't watched it since February... which may be why I haven't succumbed to their advertisements.
