Liars, NOM is full of nothing but god damned bigoted liars. If you aren't for same sex marriage then don't marry someone who is the same sex as you. Remember people, the ones who oppose same sex marriage are the same kind of people who opposed interracial marriage, inter faith marriage, and giving full civil rights to blacks, gays, and women.

For what it's worth, I'm a registered Democrat who voted for Hillary in the primary and I voted against prop 8.
That said, 53% of the blacks that voted, voted for prop 8. Therefore your statement that they are the same kind of people opposed to giving full civil rights to blacks is incorrect.
Along similar lines, the civil rights amendment required 66% of the Senate to vote for it. Just over 65% (less than 66%) of the Democratic senators voted for it -- 89% of the Republican senators voted for it. The Civil Rights Amendment passed because of the Republicans -- not the Democrats.
You're right, Poor. That was the Republican Party prior to the Reagan Miracle, though.
Also, I see NOM forced the video down "due to a copyright claim". Not only are they afraid of Teh Gay, the are also afraid of Teh Truth...getting out!

The same conservative Christians who oppose gay marriage today are the exact same kind of people who used their bibles to tout the fact that women, blacks, and gays should not enjoy the same civil rights as themselves. You see dumb ass, I know where of I speak because I was alive during those tumultous times and I remember vividly the religious right's arguments for keeping blacks, woman, and gays oppressed. So when you claim I am wrong, you're not only wrong, you're foolish.
