If I was President elect Obama I'd nominate Hillary Clinton to be Attorney General. She'd make a kick ass top law officer of this nation and she'd clean house on all those shitty Bush lovin' jeebus freaks that Monica Goodling hired. I'm a little frightened about her being Sec. of State because she's a little too hawkish for my taste.
I'd also find a place in my administration for Hilary Duff if I was Obama. And I'd be so kind as to find a place for her sister Haley Duff too. That's how I'd roll if I was Obama, I'm just sayin' that's all.

I think that she serves the country better as Senator from New York. I've never liked her performance on the national stage. There is too much of the caginess and triangulation that characterized the Clinton years.
She didn't inspire a sense of trust in me during the primaries, and I think we could find someone more understated and professionally suited to either cabinet. She's a lawyer, but someone special needs to dismantle the Bush Justice Department.
Condi's State has been a disaster with leagues of seasoned professionals leaving and being replaced by Bush operatives and cronies (hmmm... a pattern). Again, I don't see Hill having what it takes to rebuild the State Department while running two wars and the perennial Israel/Arab conflict and contending with burgeoning Iran, Post-Kim Jeong Il NK, flakey Russia, flakier Pakistan, the Congo etc.
Nothing in Hillary's resume convinces me she could take on a tenth of what's on the SD's plate. I don't know who would be the perfect candidate but it's not Hillary.

I like her as Sec of State more than Richardson.
I think it's smart to bring her into the Cabinet as long as Bill stays out of it. I would have thought Education, HUD, HHS or Labor instead (keep it more domestic), but maybe those aren't big enough prizes for her. I don't care for Richardson at all in that spot. I sure hope Obama's not planning on offering something to McCain. His brain is going... going...
