Fall is just starting to fall on the Nolichucky river

When it comes to scenic views, they don't get much better than they do around here in eastern Tennessee.

Purty!

Things are just starting to pop here in N. Michigan. We get some good autumns here.

Just lovely! Did you get your monkey toes wet taking that beautiful picture?

mnmom - Northern MN, around Lutsen and on up through the Gunflit Trail is indeed spectacular! And Interstate Park near Taylors Falls, and the St. Croix around Winona.
Having lived 4 years here now, and 21 in Minnesota, I have to say they are both glorious. Being in the mountains though is something, indeed.
Enjoy whichever one you happen to be in, I guess!

That's beautiful. I wish I could see it with my own eyes.

I hope you'll take more photos of this, Dr. Monkey, if you have time.

Reminds me of my beautiful PA! Fall is definitely creeping in here too. Love it!

I love fall and this river is beautiful, but you are all wrong.

Look at Lake Superior when there is snow on the ground - BREATHTAKING!

My favorite thing is to be up in the hills on the snowmobile trails - lots of snow on the ground, a sunny day, turn around and look down at that lake!

But I suppose if you don't like cold - like WM and I do, then...

Beautiful! I'll be making my way down that way in the spring I think, expanding our search.

We are just starting to turn here in Knox. Another week or two should be perfect.
