...and your prayer will be answered in about five or six days. They prayed for rain in Denver when Obama accepted the nomination and it didn't come until today.
But it's not hitting Denver, it's hitting in the gulf coast.
And instead of fucking up the Democrat's party, it's playing havoc with the party of the rich white people's God, the Republican party.
It's times like this that almost make me a believer again.
Okay, I meant all but the previous line.

This is an interesting situation and I have mixed feelings about it, but mainly I am uncomfortable with the fact that there are so many GOP-ers in the vicinity with so little to do tomorrow....idle hands and all that...
Very striking metaphor, isn't it? The Republican Party partying and speechifying while an impending natural disaster forces an entire city to evacuate.
Haw haw!
There's a take home message in that somewhere, that's for certain.
Rain and rock on!
Au contraire, mon monkee. I think the GOP prayed for a deversion like Gustav so they wouldn't have to face the embarrassment of having Republicans speaking about why they should get elected.
Bush is in my hometown of San Antonio right now, monitoring the storm presumably the same way I am--by watching CNN.
Do they not have CNN in Minnesota?
karen zipdrive: LOL!!
Yeah Gustav really provided a convenient distraction from the other disaster (RNC).
We have CNN and lots for televisions.
I want God's Own Party to explain why HE sent a large storm to disrupt their convention. They were sure quick to blame Katrina on the gays in New Orleans!
Maybe there is a God?
