I've been walking and biking to work lately as I live pretty close and feel like I should start walking the walk when it comes to reducing my dependence on oil and saving $$. The funny part is, almost every single day, someone asks me if I need a ride home, and they look confused when I say I CHOSE to walk/bike. I WANTED to do it.

PERFECT.
I would laugh ... but, sadly, this isn't a joke.
It's so high here, I can't fill my tank for less than $53. And my tank is only 13 gallons.
Good 'un, Dr. Monkey!

If oil prices hold, I may ditch my car entirely.
Who said Deregulation was such a good idea?
Yep, that's us!
The front page of today's JC Press had local reaction to the high gas prices. One guy said "I just spent $160 on gas. How do you think I feel?"
"Almost enough to buy a decent bike lock."
"Or a bus pass."
Fuck.
Fuck, indeed. Great one, Monkey.
