When these two morally bankrupt unethical lying media whores, Mr. and Mrs. Carville Matalin, weep, wail, and gnash their teeth over Tim Russert's untimely death, you know we've all had enough of the canonization of old Timmy. He was just a TV talking head after all, it's not like he married into an inbred family of British royals or ran a charity in Calcutta that catered to the poorest of the poor. Hey you bloodsuckers in the corporate media, it's time to move on and let the man rest in peace. It's time for everybody and their brother who happened to hear the guy cut a fart once to stop mythologizing him.
And Mary and James, it's time to stop the crocodile tears. Neither one of you pampered media loving fame whores ever shed a tear over a dead US soldier or an Iraqi family who lost a child when a US bomb hit their house. And you damn sure never went on TV and cried for anyone who was murdered in Afghanistan by the Taliban or the US army. And I know neither of you grieved a second over anyone in Darfur, Gorazde, South Africa, China, Mexico, Peru, or any other place where US corporate policy shafts the locals but makes you and your corporate puppet masters money. Save your tears James and Mary, save them for all the kids in the US who are getting left behind in school, save them for our vanishing wetlands, save them for the people who's lives are ruined by mountain top removal coal mining, and save them for your grandkids who will grow up in a world devastated by the very same businesses and industries that both of you represent and work for.
Oh wait a second, it just hit me why you're both crying so hard now. You two fakers are crying because you lost one of your best shills in the media and now you'll have to wine, dine, and buy out someone new who will spout your talking points on TV as well as Russert did.

I just want to know if George Will shed a tear over at ABC.
That man is a rock.
Right on, Monkey.
And no, Splotch, George Will is a ROBOT.
Good gawd, I only saw 15 minutes of this crap about Russert on tv and I was plenty disgusted then. So it is my understanding that the media elite are in mourning STILL! I heard a piece about Russert on NPR too today and I think STFU already about it. It's like you say--plenty of other people die that are more deserving of a moving tribute.
Yeah, Russert was part of the problem, not part of the solution, but we don't get to say that in public.
I liked when I was a regular on alt.obituaries, where it was perfectly okay to slag the recently deceased.
Now that you mention it, those tow really did lose a powerful ally. I'm not in any rush to criticize Russert, although I think he reinforced most of the deficiencies of the mainstream media. I don't even really know why I have a soft spot for this guy. I guess it's because he exuded a false air of professionalism and he never really had a truly nauseating failure like the ABC debate or something of that magnitude. Lots of sell out moments, but no huge crushing embarrassments. It's a low bar, but he set it.
As usual, spot on Dr.M, Spot on.
When I saw that still in my morning newspaper the other day I was disgusted. Fakest. Mourning. Ever.
Yeah, you notice that in all the coverage of Russert's death, that you never saw any footage of him absolutely rabid with glee in the midst of his coverage of Clinton's blow job. That man was obsessed with our president's cock.
I understand that to other media people, he was a colleague. But guess what, he's not my colleague. His death is a big obituary item, yes, but guess what? Not news. Sorry.
I'm so glad you said it out loud and called out these big posers!
Man! Charlton Heston died and they only went on about it for three days.
Just sayin'.
(Though it would have been nice if they'd have weeped and wailed over Molly Ivins-a person we truly, deeply need right now)
i hate the carvilles...especially that fake piece of crap Mary
there is NOTHING real about them --
what this has shown is how the whole Kstreet,Congress,MSM,politico is one giant private party and the rest of the country IS NOT INVITED
Boy, Tom Brokaw is going to be really pissed if he doesn't get a whole week!
And I hope they're planning a similar series of mourning for Dan Rather some day.
You know, that liberal media hangs together.....
Damn.
Bravo Dr. Von Monkerstein.
You nailed them.
Regards,
Tengrian
I'll miss Tim Russert a lot! You know why? Because I got a kick out of watching his face next to Brian Williams' face. Tim's eyebrows went like this: \ /
0 0
and Brian's like this: / \
0 0
Hell's bells! My formatting got messed up when it posted. Damn!
I'll try it this way:

That photo still of them crying(?) is so fake-why do they have their faces covered-that just looks so contrived.
