They get a pay raise of over $4000 and you and I get shit.

and of course you pay tax on the $16 and dont get free use of the post office
We had not had a raise in over 3 years where I work and then we got a 1% cost of living wage that was then taken away by an increase in the local county income tax.
$16 doesn't even buy half a tank of gas now does it?

Right. Shameful. The part that bothers me the most is that they have amazing health coverage -- including pre-existing conditions and dental. So that $4,000 goes toward other things.
I say
1. Take away their insurance.
2. Stop the raises.
3. Make each one write an essay naming 30 jobs that are more important then theirs. Start with garbage collectors.
Oh, come on! They have country club fees and greens fees and well you know. It costs a lot to be rich, man!
