I went to Think Progress and I saw this little article on my douchebag House of Rep. member Davis Davis:
Davis aide to take ethics classes for his Wikipedia vandalism.
In June, Timothy Hill, the press secretary for Rep. David Davis (R-TN), used his office computer to make a series of edits to his boss’s Wikipedia page, deleting information about political contributions from the pharmaceutical industry. Hill was caught by a Wikipedia administrator who fixed the entries and wrote an article about Hill’s “blanking vandalism.” As punishment, Davis is now requiring Hill to “attend classes on appropriate conduct for congressional staff members.”
As if that didn't make me all swollen with pride, I scrolled down the page and I saw where both my idiot civil liberties hatin' US Senators BushLamar Alexander and BushBob Corker went to Iraq and after spending 10 hours there they said the surge is working and all kinds of progress was made and that we should continue the war forever!
Those assholes all make me long for the good old days when Gov. Ray Blanton was running things in my state and selling pardons to rich felons.
Update: Give my Congressman's local field office a call at 423-247-8161(Kingsport office) or 423-317-7459 (Morristown office) and ask to see if they will do some Wikipedia edits for you! I did and I'm not sure they appreciated it. Oh yeah, while I had Mr. Hill on the line I told him to resign and told him to tell his boss to resign as well. Somehow I don't think that's one constituent's wish they'll try to make come true.

You might want to post a warning for people before they click on the Wikipedia link. That is one scary mug that guy's got!
Your Rep. is named Davis Davis? I hope he has more imagination than his parents did.
Chris-You should see him in person!
He's even creepier!
Sadbuttrue-He votes with Bush all the time so of course he has no imagination.
I was going to say... Two First Namers are hard enough at times, but Two Last Name man! Yikes.
What.
An.
Asshole.
Seriously.
Somebody should edit that wiki-link... Davis Davis links to assholes. Nice.
Davis Davis, his parents must have been really uninspired.
Fran-The sad thing is he will be reelected here until he dies.
Missy-And they gave birth to an uninspiring baby.
Hill leaving post as Davis press secretary

Timothy Hill, U.S. Rep. David Davis’ press secretary, will be leaving his position at the end of the year, Davis’ Chief of Staff Brenda Otterson said Thursday.
In an e-mail, Hill said he wanted to pursue other career options.
Otterson said Hill, who worked on Davis’ 2006 congressional campaign and started his job last January, will be missed.
“Timothy has been a very good asset,” she said. “He acclimated to Washington quickly. He acclimated to all the various forms of news media.”
But earlier this year, Hill used a congressional computer to delete information in the online Wikipedia biographies of Davis and his brother, state Rep. Matthew Hill. As a result, Timothy Hill was ordered by Otterson to take additional ethics training classes conducted by the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct.
The scuttlebut is that U.S. Rep. David Davis will be awarding Hill with the Medal of Merit for his skillful Wikipedia editing:
Medal of Merit
Lastly, the Medal of Merit and the U.S. Senate Productivity Award are both given at the discretion of individual Congress members. Both awards are privately funded, and there are no set criteria for winning them.
The Medal of Merit, also known as the Medal for Merit, was established in 1942 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was to honor civilian citizens of the United States and their allies for their exceptional service during World War II. Now it is used by individual Congress members to recognize the achievements of their constituents as they see fit.
The U.S. Senate Productivity Award is awarded to organizations and businesses for productivity, customer service and other areas that they specify. Each Senator may award one each year.
