The search continues

Unlike Dr. Zaius, the ape who offers nothing but baseless accusations and character assassinations of me, my campaign manager, and bloggers who have endorsed me recently, and the latest Johnny come lately to the campaign, Samurai Frog and I have been busy doing something positive. The search for a new running mate for me continues unabated. In order to bring some sunlight to the murky world of Presidential politics we wanted to give all of you an update on some of the people we have interviewed so far. Some have dropped out after our rigorous interview process and some remain in the running. The final decision has not been made yet but it may come at any time if we meet a potential running mate who is in line with our positive vision for America and who can deliver people from different voting blocs.

Here are some of the people we've interviewed:

Brangelina

Bennifer The Deadly DuoThe Thompson Twins
The Alou Brothers

The Andrews Sisters

These Franciscan Brothers

The Dionne Qunits

So as you can see it's been a pretty busy weekend here at el Casa de Monkey. Samurai Frog and I have been interviewing these people, as well as others, almost non stop. There is no truth to the rumor that we have been drinking Mad Dog 20/20, Vodka Stingers, and Pabst Blue Ribbon beer while we lounge by the pool in our skimpiest Speedos. That is simply not true.

What is true however is that Stephen Colbert has gotten a whiff of the foul wind that is coming off the Zaius/Gregarious campaign and he has decided to put that oafish orangutan and his bubbleheaded boob of a running mate on notice. He sent us the picture to prove it:

You've been put on notice Zaius/Gregarious, now clean up your foul campaign and run on the issues or get out of the race!

I am proud to have run afoul of Stephen Colbert's conservative agenda. My San Francisco liberal thinking makes his GOP head!
