I got this pristine copy of this 1959 cookbook today in an antique store. It's chock full of cool little illustrations and photos of culinary horror. And of course it's full of horrid fatty recipes. Woot!

I picked up this cheery little duck planter thingy for $3 bucks the other day at a junk/antique store. I love how he looks a little like Drinky Crow. Quack!

Mini score!

I'm moving in a little over a week and yet I'm still buying vintage photos and magazines from antique stores. I bought a couple of issues of True magazine from the early 70's and I also bought a half dozen vintage photos all for two bucks today at an antique store in Greeneville, TN.

I picked up a box of stuff at an antique store today for 10 bucks and change and it had a bunch of somebody's family photos, slides, negatives, and home movies in it. I'll be scanning the photos and slides later.It also had that cool looking slide viewer thingy that you see on the left in the photo and that's a camera case to the right of the viewer thingy, alas it was camera-less. I dig the reels and little itty bitty silver film cans.
