So long Frank

Illustrator extraordinaire Frank Frazetta passed away yesterday. I've loved his art since the first time I saw it. And since I'm a sci fi and comic book nerd, I've seen quite a lot of it. This piece of his pretty much sums up everything I love about the man's work:
What's not to love? Rocket ships, space men, crash landing, outer space, and a hot alien babe with wings. Boom. I'm all in.

Rest in peace Frank. And thanks for all the great images you gave us all those years.

This just in...

...bunches of people who are in serious need of behavior modification therapy hate the new Star Trek movie because it's not exactly like the old Star Trek movies and TV shows. These same people have threatened to boycott the film and they are also threatening to not leave their parents basement until William Shatner is given a cameo in all future Star Trek franchise films. May the force be with them, because they haven't got much else.
