I'm a bird brain

I can't stop making art with birds in it.

Sorry to have missed you

This artist wasn't participating in the handmade art show we went to the other day.  I wish they had been, I liked their work and wanted to see more of it.  Oh well.  Like the Stones said, you can't always get what you want.

Anyway, I'm still fixated on birds in my art right now.  So I go get back to work.

Thanks for stopping by

We had about 300 robins stop by our neighborhood the other day for a few hours. They ate a shitload of holly and nandina berries, shit all over our car, deck, and drive way, then they flew off to gawd knows where.

I guess it wasn't so bad though, it could have been worse. It could have been another fucking snow storm.

All robins, no Batman

Our neighborhood was invaded by a flock of robins last evening.
There were about 150 of them.
I tried to catch as many as I could in some photographs.
However they didn't like me taking their picture.
So they shit all over Sparky's car.

Peckers

Pileated Woodpeckers to be exact.

The bluebird of happiness...

...was at one of our parks here in Johnson City yesterday afternoon.
He was a bit shy at first.

But when I called out to him he turned around.

Well, he turned the opposite way from me.
But after a moment he turned back towards me.
He finally sat on the fence long enough for me to snap this picture of his pretty blue coat.
I'm holding you responsible for this bird post Ms. Guzman. It's all your fault.
Happy spring time everybody!

Look out!

It's loose! And it bites!
