This one is called 'Hey mouse ears!' In the late 1960's we still lived in the projects in Detroit and some young black teens loved getting a rise out of my dad. He'd get livid when they shouted "Hey mouse ears!" at him while he walked through the neighborhood with his head down. This is my homage to that time in my life, those young black men, and to my dad, who would probably not like this work since it made fun of him in a round about way, but fuck it, he always wanted his kids to be artists.
