Even in places where there were few black slaves (Northern States, the Western Frontier, the UK, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, etc.?)
Yes Fred, even in those places too because slavery was legal in the UK and all those other countries benefited from cheap slave labor. And, I'm sure you realize there are poor people in all those places who are exploited as well.
Poor people don't count because it's their choice to be poor.
