I just heard that our 'esteemed' Sec. of State Hillary Clinton said that continuing US military operations in Afghanistan were in the best interests of the Afghan people. Funny, I'm old enough to remember when the Soviets said the same thing when they occupied that country.We've learned nothing from history. Nothing.
