Emerging outsider artist Claire P. sent me one of her original sketches! Here is it in all it's glory:

Wow. I wonder how long it took her to draw all those little legs?
Thank you for posting it! XUP, it took me a while to draw all those little legs...but once I was halfway in I was committed to finishing it because I wanted to illustrate a post. Dr. M, if I find this in a Sotheby's catalog, I shall expect a cut of the proceeds, which will of course be substantial.
Pure. Awesomeness. I love this. AND I love the weird bird thing. Why do they do this at dusk? Why do they always go back to the same place? And why does that place move a little further south on Roan St every year?
