You haven't posted all day long Monkey, what the heck have you been up to?
Well, Nosy Parker, if you must know, I've been chasing lizards and nailing the ones I caught to the outside wall next to our keen blue bird bath.
And I cut off part of the drain pipe and put on a new elbow so the rain water will drain into our new rain barrel.

If you must know, I was out providing quality first aid to the skiing public on the six new inches of snow that fell here last night. I think I've earned the right to be lazy.
That's a nifty-looking barrel, by the way!
I helped build a mousetrap-powered car and made crab cakes. That was enough for me.
First I counseled a distressed friend on the phone, then I walked to the store and bought a Sunday paper, then I ate breakfast, then I...ah, Hell, I read Blogs and futzed around on the computer all day.
I used to think the protagonist of the song "Say Say Oh Playmate" was inviting us to slide down her rain barrel. I found out all these years later I was wrong, and that we were invited to slide down her rainbow. I liked it better the other way- it sounded kinda dirty.
