Paradise

This is one of four vintage hotel/motel postcards I bought yesterday:
It looks like paradise to me. Hot chicks in bikinis, cool looking lodgings in the Sierra mountains, a figure 8 pool with a water slide, what more could a guy have wanted in a California vacation get away back in the mid 1960's?

I wish I was there right now. I miss the 1960s innocence of being able to do stuff like lie in the sun without risking death.

I agree with the other commenters. I long for a time when this was considered enough. How did we get so muddled that we believe that unless something is the height of luxury, it's no longer good enough?
