The first full weekend in June in Johnson City means it's Blue Plum Festival time! There'll be live music, food, stuff for sale, and various organizations will have booths that offer info during the street fair. Since I did not melt in this morning's high temps and 1000% humidity I'll be attending the festival with Sparky. We hope to see our friends Rev. Shuck and Snad at the PFLAG booth and to buy some spices from the spice and herb people, pick up some handmade soap, and score a bottle or two of datil pepper sauce. I'll take my camera and I'll have pictures and a report on the festival later.
In the mean time, you kids have a happy Saturday.

I am jealous that you are festivaling already! It's the activity that makes life truly worth living.
