You had it coming

If you use the word "prolly" in place of "probably," then you immediately lost any respect I had for you. And on top of that, I will also think you are a pin head.

Now, please use our language correctly and go on about your business.

Pinhead? Careful, you may be watching too much O'Reilly.

Sorry man, but I just can't give it up.

The usage of "prolly", particularly in my online writing, is an integral part of my personality, as is the occasional "haveta" and "wuzzah?" (that's wuzzah, not wassup, by the way).

What about "probs"?

You monkeys are so about the rules! With a monkey/love reign of error we'd have to choose our words very, very carefully!

I'll go you one better. If you use the word "probably," put the emphasis on the first damn syllable where it belongs. It's PRObably, with three syllables, not probabLE-ee with four syllables. My first boyfriend said it that way, which is PRObably why he never got any.

I had to get used to the way my sister's word use changed, and how most of her family talks after she moved to W. Virginia (oy) and subsequently NC. It's almost a different language than the one we were raised with! Prolly ain't nothin'. I have to force myself to remember she is still as smart as she always wus.

What if I used the word "probly", pronounced "probleh"?

You know what they say: monkey see, monkey do. Just keep doing it the right way and maybe dr monkey, these folks might catch on.

So we finally get a peak at the grammar-geek behind the monkey, just in time for the primary season. I say stick to your guns, Monkey! If proper English was good enough for the Bible, it's good enough for Amurika!

Chris-Thanks for reminding me.

Splotchy-I wish I knew how to quit you.

Barb-You are on the borderline young lady. Watch it.

Gremaine-And do't you forget it.

Freida-aight.

Kevin-We all seem to have gay people in our families but who knew you had the Queen? Congrats! :)

Dale-Yes I do, I'm so vain like that.

Kirby-You are a strict word mistress. And I think I love you for it.

Bubbles-People assuming that us Southerners are stupid because we have a different accent than everyone else is one of my pet peeves. There are stupid people every where and not just in the south, thank you very much.

Bubs-I'll let you slide.

Liberality-I'll try that. Thanks for reminding me.

Dguzman-Amurika uber alles!

How do you feel about "Febooary" for "February" and "Libary" for "Library"?
