The first time I remember seeing him was in Casualties of War and thought he did an amazing job (along with Sean Penn, Don Harvey, and John Leguizamo - Michael J Fox? Whatever). I'm glad that he's continuing to get quite a bit of work but disappointed that this is the route his career has taken.

Oh, I love those old photos. Stories can be written about each of them.

Totally. And I don't even like golf.
Oh I totally agree! I adore him.
Check out this image of him a blog friend of mine made. I love it:

I don't know, that's what they said about Bush... and look where that got us.
I think the first time I saw him was in Boogie Nights. I liked him in that.
Let's run him for prezdint. He's got the nice, regular guy thing working for him.
And maybe he comes without the evil.
That sounds like presidential qualifications to me.
I'm a big fan, too. (just one little observation though...would a woman who looked like that get to be a big movie star?)
Didn't know about the douchbaggery, but I sure am chuffed to see Walk Hard.
I have a bit of a crush on Mr. Reilly.
Yes, I know it's Odd. I'm allowed to have a crush on whoever I wish.
You're not the boss of me.
PoP-You threw me for a moment until I realized you were commenting on the previous post.
Karen-I have never seen "Casualities" all the way through. Don't hate me.
Beckeye-Come on down to TN and we'll hit the links. Maybe you'll like it, if not you can drink lots of beer.
Missy-Cool pic!
Kirby-To be fair I never said that about Bush, I always hated him and knew he was evil.
D Cup-Welcome back! I missed your comments. Sure, let's run him in 2012.
Fourthcorner-me too!
CDP-I see your point and the answer is no, not in this country. However in the UK maybe so because they have a better system for recognizing talent.
Barb-I'm chuffed as well and chapped too but that's another story for another day.
Whiskey-How could I possibly tame your wild spirit? Go on, crush all you like on Johnny boy.
he does seem like the coolest guy evah. totally agreed. non-douchey.
I love him, and I love beer, but hate golf.
Jewgirl-He seems like a mensch.
Blueberry-I hated it too until I started playing it.
Like some of the others, beer(s) maybe golf, no. He seems like a pretty cool guy!
