With this veto, which should be overridden with all due haste, our idiot President proclaims his hatred for middle class kids whose parents make too much to qualify for help but too little to actually buy the insurance they need for their kids.
Those white middle class kids now join the ranks of the other groups of kids he hates like Hispanic kids,
African American kids,
and the group he hates most of all Iraqi and Afghani kids.
It's amazing how someone who gets the best health care money can buy for free will stand by and deny basic health care those who can't afford it. Email, call, or write your Congressmen (or women) and tell them to vote to override this awful veto.

Bush is just putting his favorite parable into action. You know the one that says if you give a child anti-biotics, you'll cure him for a day, teach a child how to grow penicillin with that moldy bread in his Batman lunchbox, you'll cure him forever.
Everyone is trying to kill us kids. The government, the toy companies, our own parents in some cases. That's comforting.

Oh here in Europe, Spain to be precise, they like Americans but think our leader is an idiota.
They also think we are cruel animals to do this to our kids. They do seem to understand we wish otherwise, but that idiot man, is well, an idiot.
This is a real example of standing on principle as a path to destruction. "No socialized medicine(i am not even going into that the fact that it is not) is better than healthy kids."
