How long?

How long will it be before the corporate media and the Reich wingers blame liberals for the bridge disaster in MN? How long before they say that Bill and Hillary Clinton knew about it and let it happen? How long before Bush gets out there and has his frat boy self photographed in front of that bridge? How long will itbe before Bush says that Al Qaeda caused this disaster and that because this bridge fell that we need to stay in Iraq five more years?

This country is falling apart, our infrastructure is crumbling while the Republicans fiddle around and keep us in Iraq and Afghanistan. How many more of these bridges will have to fall before people see what a travesty it is to let the rich white people run our govrenment and our country into the ground? Is your kid's school falling down? No? Maybe not, but I bet there are some schools in your state that are falling down.

Our bridges fall, our schools crumble, our interstates break and yet we have to keep pouring billions of dollars into the quagmire in Iraq and Afghanistan so ExxonMobilBPShellHalliburtonBlackwaterUSAKellogBrownandRoot can make millions off us.

Government is supposed to protect us and to supply basic services like schools, bridges, and highways, unfortunately our federal government is being held hostage by public enemy number one:

Hat tip to Johnny Yen for the bridge picture, thanks Johnny.

Being from Minneapolis, and having driven over that bridge many times, I'm still in shock. I'm just hoping friends and family are all okay.

But you are right - I don't know how this happened, but it does point out that a few things we could do here at home with $400 Billion and a well-prepared and rested National Guard.

They seem to have ruled out terrorism, but that doesn't mean Bush won't take an opportunity to roll up his sleeves and give a lab-rat smile when the cameras flash. If he does, I'd ask my homeys from the Twin Cities to throw themselves into Northland Gear and suggest to Bush that he come back and offer "help" as soon as he actually deals with the Katrina debacle.

No problem-- I snitched it from the New York Times last night.

I just wonder how bad do things have to get before Joe Average Voter gets that his pockets are being picked?

as far as i know, the blaming of the clinton administration started yesterday. so that was, what a couple days?
shame on the republicans for being so slow to blame others! you'd think that'd have been first out the gate.
