Last night's The Daily Show (April 24, 2007) could not have rocked more. Jon and company stuck it to the dithering politicians in Washington in a new segment that covered "the war over the war," called Mess O'Potomac. Then after that his guest was the old nut bag from Arizona, the unofficial mayor of Hanoi, Sen. McCain. He stuck it to McCain on the Bhagdad market stroll, which the old fart still tried to defend, over the war without end amen in general, and the thugs in the bush jr administration who try to impugn people's patriotism whenever they disagree with them over the fiasco known as the war on Iraq.
McCain was clearly combative and the old goat looked spooked at times. They tried to laugh off the animosity but it was kind of like when that ass from FOX Comedy channel was on Letterman and Dave stuck it to him.
It's about time the press started acting like the press again and continue to stick it to the idiots and windbags in DC who continue to support the war on Iraq.

I saw it - it was spooky! McCain was certainly less than convincing.
But isn't just sad that a fake news show gives us the best challenge to talking points? Jon would simply not let McCain give his little spin. Ten bucks says that will not happen on other "news" shows.
