Found photo bonanza

These photos are from two contact sheets I bought today at a local antique store for two bucks each. I estimate that the pictures were shot in the mid to late 1950's. I'm also pretty sure that both these sheets, as well as the others that I didn't buy but hope to one day, are all from the same family/estate. These two that I bought today are full of photos of this family's home, their maid, their pets, and a trip to the race track. I love these so much it hurts.

I'll post the rest of these on my scan blog.

You can try and try and try...

...but you'll never have as much fun today as these white folks are having.

The gang's all here

This photo of Sparky's dad's family was taken in the 1930's. It's brilliant. Her dad is the little dude in the tie and sweater on the bottom row fourth from the left. That's his sister Delores sitting on the end of that row on the right. The guy in the back row wearing the hat holding the baby is Sparky's late paternal grandfather. The baby he's holding is her late Aunt Charlotte.

Vintage family of the week

And no, it's not my family. This picture was in a box of vintage photos I bought one day in an antique store.
