Suicide bomber in the Middle East blows up people, no big thing, but when they do it in the west it's suddenly the worst thing ever.

Looks like all that praying that terrorism would go away didn't work.  Maybe we should stop praying and start not funding repressive governments.  Also not acting like the world is ours in the USA to plunder might help in ending terrorism.  Stopping religious fundamentalism, ending predatory capitalism, repealing institutional racism will also help in the fight against terror.

But hey, I could be wrong, maybe this time your pathetic prayers to gods that aren't there will end terrorism.

No one in that church in Charleston SC died because guns weren't allowed in there.  They died because a white terrorist took one in.

Selective outrage

How many of you are as angry about the terrorist attack on the NAACP as you are about the one in Paris?

And if you're super angry about the terrorist attack in Paris, how much of that anger is over the fact that you're really angry over the notion white people shouldn't be punished for saying what they want whenever they want?

Take your hypocrisy and go elsewhere.

It's all in the timing

People are outraged over the 'Muslim' terrorism in France this morning, and rightly so.  However, most of these same people were silent when Israel was killing Muslims indiscriminately this past summer in Palestine.

People are outraged over the 'attack on freedom of the press' in Paris, yet when US newspapers used their freedom of the press to report on CIA torture and the stuff Chelsea Manning leaked, they were horrified and wanted the press to be muzzled.

Me, I'm horrified at the people who clutch their pearls and bitch and moan about 'Muslim terrorism' but who don't bat an eye when Christians commit mass murder, like that Brevik guy in Denmark and the guy who opened fire in a Unitarian church in Knoxville, TN because he wanted to kill liberals.
