TN legislator Matthew Hill is a fascist piece of shit

Meet Matthew Hill.  He's a member of the TN legislature and he never met a gun he didn't want to suck off or strap to his micro penis before he fucked someone over, usually the poor.  He wants guns in bars, in state parks, and very probably in the vaginas of uppity women.  He's a frightened manchild who's political career consists of screwing over working class people, shitting on the poor, and making the lives of women miserable.

But all that stuff pales in comparison to what he wants to do now.

Hill now wants to criminalize dissent, take away the free speech from those he disagrees with, and he wants to deny people in TN equal protection under the law.  How does he want to do all of that unconstitutional stuff?  He wants to revoke a demonstrator's right to take action in civil court against someone who hits them with their vehicle if said demonstrator is blocking a street or road.  That's right he wants to take away the right of people in TN to seek redress in civil courts if they get hit while protesting or demonstrating.  This fascist piece of shit hates it when people use free speech he doesn't agree with and he wants people who do use free speech he disagrees with to be hurt, maimed or killed by someone in a car or truck.  He claims to be pro life but the life he's pro on isn't someone who gets hit by a car while demonstrating.

Of course Hill is like all the conservative turds in the cesspool that is the TN legislature, he takes his cues and gets his ideas for legislation from others.  This idea of taking away people's right to demonstrate in the road ways, which was used so effectively by Martin Luther King Jr by the way, came from states where it's being used effectively now, like Minnesota and Missouri.  Hill took time out from rewatching a Jeff Foxworthy video or gay porn or whatever it he watches, and he thought to himself, "That there am are be a good idear, maybe them protesters is gonna be too scared ta protest iffen a few of them git run over.  I'mma make that a law because I hate all them people saying they want rights and that black lives matter.  Whew, all that thinking stuff is hard, I'mma go back to watching tranny porn until ALEC or the NRA calls and tells me what they's wantin' me to do next."

On it's face the law that Hill wants to pass is unconstitutional because it would deprive people of their constitutional right to free speech and it deprives people from equal protection under the law.  And if it somehow passes the corporate drone who is our governor signs it into law, I'll be the first to take him to court to sue to get it overturned.

Hill may have a lifetime gerrymandered seat in the TN legislature but he doesn't scare me.  I've got free speech and hundreds of years of case law behind me.  He's got a boner for criminalizing dissent and speech he disagrees with.  Fuck him, fuck his entitlement, his white male Christian supremacist world view, and his fascism.  And finally, I'm not saying Matthew Hill murders homeless people while dressed as Adolf Hitler, sells their organs on the black market, and makes dildoes out of their bleached bones, but I am saying that he has never denied doing that or offered any proof that he hasn't done it, because after all, when you try to take away people's hard won constitutional rights and protections, then you're capable of just about anything.

Also, when I was 8 yrs old I watched my sister Linda who was 9 get hit and killed by a car.  I can still see her getting hit in my mind every day and I still miss her every day.  So for this piece of shit HIll to try to take away anyone's right to sue in civil courts after being hit by a car, fuck him.  I hope he has the misfortune to see someone close to him get hit and killed by a car.  But knowing what a sack of semen and rotting fecal matter Hill is, he'd probably rush to comfort the driver.

They has a sad

A bunch of wannabe hardcore 'vanguard of the revolution' Communists on Facebook have their panties in a twist because I stood up for free speech.  They maintain that KKK members and fascists should never be allowed to speak.  I informed them that free speech means all speech is free, not just speech they like and agree with.  They then called me a 'Nazi liberal,' a KKK enabler, a racist, and other stupid shit.  And one even pulled out the old 'Would you let Hitler say bad stuff about Jews?' card, to which I replied that yes, I would, because the trade off for me getting to say what I want is that others get to say what they want, that's what free speech is.  Some dude then told me that's why free speech is a bad thing and another said I should be shipped off to a gulag, which made me laugh because in his small mind he's got access to a gulag.

We didn't make huge gains against racism, fascism, homophobia, misogyny, and other societal ills by cutting off people's speech.  We made huge gains by letting the racists, fascists, the KKK, the homophobes, and women haters speak and hang themselves with their own words.  We made gains when they used their own hateful speech that allowed others to see them for what they are, small hateful bullies.  But to some of today's youth free speech is bad because it might hurt someone else's feelings.  So from the comfort of their warm safe spaces they called me a pseudo leftist and a KKK sympathizer who loves to defend fascists even though they'd never ever defend me.

All of them but one has dropped me from their friends list on Facebook, which is a good thing because my risk of permanent eye injury has dropped by 75% due to the fact that my eyes won't roll back in my head after reading another of their insipid political posts.

Not all young people today are as mindless and clueless as these kids, and thank goodness for that.

"Free speech is absolute.  We ought to be able to mock Muslims and draw pictures of Mohammed if we want to.  They need to get over it and respect our freedoms."

"Free speech for everybody right?  For Occupy Wall Street people, anti police brutality, pro marriage equality, and anti corporate demonstrators too?"

 "Those people need to get a job and shut up."

"Your hypocrisy made my spleen explode."

Professors, pigs, and pepper

Let's step back a minute and think about what happened last Friday on the UC Davis campus. A political appointee, from a Republican president no less, authorized an excessive use of force to clear protesting students off a piece of land they had paid to be on. Then after the students were brutalized by an out of control police thug, the bureaucrat, the Chancellor of the university, says that the spraying of students who were exercising their right to free speech has produced a 'chilling effect.'

Then Saturday night this same bureaucrat refused to come out of a building she was in because students surrounded it. Finally they coaxed her out and the students stared her down. She nervously claimed that she didn't fear the students but her eyes and body language said different. Now to cap it off the bureaucrat, who by the way makes nearly half a million dollars a year in her position, has turned a deaf ear to calls for her resignation. She says the university needs her to stay so she can initiate the healing process, which is like saying that a rapist needs to be allowed to finish raping so that the victim can get over being raped.

Let's be clear about one thing, the students who got sprayed broke no laws. Some have said that the video which shows how brutally they got sprayed didn't show everything, it didn't show how the students were shouting "Fuck the police!" and linking arms after they were told to clear out. No matter what Fox Noise, the powers that be, Newt 'Triple Divorce' Gingrich, or your local yokel policeman says, shouting "Fuck the police!" and linking arms is not against the law. Some claim that the students refused to obey the police and that's why they got pepper sprayed, but when you think about it, you don't have to obey the police. If you're not breaking the law, then you can't be disobeying a police request, because they can't ask you to stop doing something that's legal.

Let's be clear about another thing, that bureaucrat who was in charge and who finally took responsibility for this mess has got to go if she hasn't already. She doesn't have the best interests of the students or her university at heart, if she did she'd have worked to find a non violent way to end that situation. And this woman is a huge part of the problem today in that she's out to make that university a revenue stream for the higher education system of California, not a place of learning. She's a bean counter who wants to make money, not educate. Her salary is far too high as well, if she was serious about wanting to help her university heal and move forward, she'd give back two thirds of her salary so poor and working class kids could use that money for tuition.

The campus cops were out of line in all of this but they were 'led' by a corporate minded bureaucrat who had only the bottom line in her mind when she decided to have her students brutalized. When we let the 'free market' run our public colleges, this is the type of shit we can expect. Capitalism screws over those who have no capital and when it seeks to own public universities and public spaces, it screws over the people who use those institutions.

Last Friday was a shameful day for UC Davis, for free speech, and for dissent worldwide because other countries will use the example the cops here set and they'll run rough shod over demonstrators and protesters every chance they get.

A lesson in free speech

There was a KKK get together near here recently, I hesitate to call it a rally since so few KKK people showed up for it. They got together and shouted their same old tired bullshit, they love and are proud of their white heritage and blacks are inferior to whites blah blah blah. It's the same old shit with fewer and fewer people out in support of their sad hateful views.

Of course once word spread that the Klan was coming more word went out for the inevitable counter KKK protest. And of course more counter protesters showed up than KKK supporters did. And of course they shouted the Klan down like they always do. At this point it's all become kabuki theatre, all ritual and no substance. The KKK puffs out their chest and says, "At least we got to call spades spades and show how great we whites is." And the counter protesters puff out their many chests and say, "We stood firm against hate and the small minds of the KKK."

And then someone always says, "Why do we let the Klan have a demonstration anyways? They're a hate group, shouldn't they kept from taking to the streets to spread their message?" At this point is where I always pipe up and remind people that we should let the Klan take to the streets to spread their message. We should let Westboro Baptist and other homophobic Christians take to the streets to spread their hateful version of the gospel. We should let fundamentalist Muslims, Jews, Christians, Santeria, and whoever else wants to have a go take to the streets, the airwaves, to the internet, to billboards, to whatever to spread their message. Because if we don't and we start to tell people who can and who can't speak in public then we all lose our free speech. I hate most everything that the people on right wing hate talk radio say but they've got a right to say it. If we take away the right of the American Nazi party or the Delaware Free Love League to speak then where does it stop? Free speech means even people you disagree with get to speak. It doesn't mean you have to listen to them, or that you have to argue with them. It also doesn't mean that you have to invite them into you home, your business, onto your blog or your Facebook page to spread their hateful speech. The deal is, they get to say shit but you don't have to listen and you can actively ignore them and or mock them.

I want teabaggers to demonstrate. I want the KKK to hold rallies. I want the Nazi party to speak out. I want the labor unions to march and to strike. I want social justice organizations to hold street fairs and have marches. I want Greenpeace and PETA to hit the bricks and the airwaves. I want everyone of all political and social stripe to have their say. I'm not going to listen to all of it and most likely, I'm going to ignore a lot of what is said because I disagree with it. But I'm not about to tell someone they can't say something because I disagree with it.

People with glasses speak out on free speech

Rosa Sharon of East Swappford, Delaware says, "I use my freedom of speech to preach about Jesus. I do my best to drown out other people when they start talking about any religion other than Christianity."

Randy Felcher of Owillis, Maryland wants to get this off his chest, "If I can't call the current President a damn dirty socialist negro, then the terrorists have won."

Brian Dunnigan of Shirley-Hampton, Montana intones, "I can hear all the free speech I want with these big ass ears of mine."

"Free speech is fine as long as the Jews, blacks, and queers keep their mouths shut," quips Millie Cogburn of Pisstake-away, New Jersey.

"Are you trying to trick me into saying something dumb like they do to Sarah Palin and that Miss California gal? Because if you are then it won't work. You Commie Nazi Liberal Conservative media fat bastard flunky," chirped Belle Plains, of Belle Plains, Oregon.

"I have a tea cup poodle that tells me what I'm allowed to use my free speech on. And if I say something out of line I have to lick my sweater and wear burlap panties until I repent," said Amy Yopp of Melas, Virginia right before they hauled her off to the loony bin.

Randy Grimly, of Nacho, Ohio, points out, "Speech won't truly be free until the day I'm allowed to yell 'Movie!' in a crowded fire hall. Now, look into my eyebrows and tell me you love me."

Who you jivin' with that Cosmik Debris?

Now that we're full on into the festival of Zappadan I can reveal that this was the only Zappa album I owned.

Frank willing though, I'll be rectifying that sometime soon.

I loved Frank Zappa because he was avant garde and he was anti authoritarian to the nth degree. Sure I love his music but for me the best part of the Frank Zappa experience was how he stood up for everyone's right to free speech at the end of his life. I loved how he socked it to Tipper Gore and Robert Novak and all the other people who wanted to censor what he and other artists said. I mourned his death for many years and I can't tell you all how happy I am there something like Zappadan exists.

News About FOX "News," or How to be unbalanced, unfair, and unhinged

We noticed as we flipped past FOX "News" the other night that Michelle Malkin, the woman who says it was cool that we locked up all those damn dirty Japanese American citizens during WW2 because one of them was bound to be a spy and it's okay for her to say that because she is of Asian descent herself, has been subbing for O'Rielly, aka Loofah Lad. It struck us that now that she has crossed the line from being an annoying, asinine, and un-American guest on that network to actually hosting a show on it, that the FOX "News" Channel is not anything less than an organ of the right wing nut bags in this country.

La Malkin, seen here getting ready to spit venom at an unsuspecting child, is nothing more than a right wing apologist who would never find a place hosting a show on any respectable news organization.

But since FOX does not care about being objective she has found a place to spew her hate. That's the liberal media for ya.

But why has been Bill-Oh been gone so much recently? Has he found some one who appreciates loofahs as much as he does? Or is he too busy thinking up new derogatory names for his perceived enemies?Bill-Oh, seen here showing the ladies just what they can expect from him, may be back on the air soon.

In other news about FOX "News," the debate between Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson and Sean Hannity took place last week and it appears, to all sane people and simians anyway, that Rocky kicked Hannity's scrawny white ass. As Burgess Meredith surely must have said in one of those damned Rocky movies, "Way to go Rock!"

However, it was a quiet week for FOX's John Gibson, he spent the past few days begging any woman who would look his way to mate with him so that he could increase the number of white births in this country.

We're not sure how any woman could refuse a slice of that beefcake, hubba hubba.

And finally the four horse persons of the Apocalypse stand ready to do what ever it is they're supposed to do when the poop hits the Christian fan. They're just waiting for the word from on high or the next commercial break.

Banned Because of Free Speech or how the right wants to muzzle anyone they disagree with

Today Joan Baez, seen here still gettin' it done, revealed that she has been banned from ever performing at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC. It seems Ms. Baez, seen here still gettin' it done, has used too much of her Constitutional right to free speech that is afforded to her by the Bill Of Rights. Jeebus knows it's a fine thing to talk about freedom of speech, but heaven forbid anyone should actually do so. Ms. Baez, seen here still gettin' it done, has had a long history of speaking out against war and speaking out for progressive causes and Jeebus knows we can't have that type of thing going on in a place where soldiers who allegedly fought to guarantee our right to free speech are treated. No, no siree, they don't deserve to hear anyone sing or talk if their opinions clash with the right wing. Ms. Baez, seen here still gettin' it done, has admitted that she could have been nicer when speaking about the soldiers who came home from Vietnam, but we guess that the right wing in this country does not believe in forgiveness.








Sadly however, this type of thing, the banning of people from certain types of venues, has been going on for the last six years, or ever since King Georgie ascended the throne. You may recall a film that came out quite awhile back called Bull Durham. And you may recall that this film starred noted progressive peace activists Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon, both seen here gettin' it done. Well a few years back, not that long actually, the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY planned to have all the stars of Bull Durham up to the Hall to fete the anniversary of the film. But just when you thought that everything was hunky dory, the new director of the Hall, a former bush jr White House employee/lackey, said that neither Robbins nor Sarandon would be allowed to speak at the event, because of unfounded fears that they would say something anti war or anti bush jr, or to even appear at the Hall in conjunction with the film. To their credit Kevin Costner, Robert Whul, and Ron Shelton said that if Robbins and Sarandon were not allowed to appear, then they would not attend either. So the event was cancelled and those who dared to use their freedom of speech were "smacked down."

Okay, so who suffers when performers who speak out against war and for progressive causes get banned? The performers themselves? Nope, they'll go somewhere else and they'll still speak out regardless. The people who would have heard the performers? Yes, it's sad that someone else makes that decision for them. But in the end we all suffer because they are censoring people they disagree with and nothing is more anti American than that.

In the interests of full disclosure, we admit it, we have crushes on Ms. Baez and Ms. Sarandon and we have a man crush on Mr. Robbins.
