From 1957 comes...

...a rubber base paint cover Christmas tree to wish you a happy belated Christmas in July.

Great picture Monkey! That tree is sort of like a cheerfully weird giant lady's wig. It must have been SOOO-OOO flammable!

When I was very small I remember having one of those aluminum trees and the light stand with the floor light and the rotating wheel with four colors, so the tree would change colors. I would zone out to that light wheel. My mom gave it to my brothers' 6th grade teacher for her school room.

A few years ago I saw that one of those trees with the flood light wheel sold at some auction for $1500.

A real tree coated with a layer of non-biodegradable toxicity. Would it smell like pine or rubber?
