We got a new toy yesterday

We got this pasta maker for under $20 bucks at Ross. Boo ya bitches, fresh pasta for everybody!

I have a spaetzle maker. We should have a noodle off sometime.

Have fun with that--those things are a blast, and what a difference it makes to have fresh pasta instead of dry.

We need to get a new one, because my bride converted ours to a tool for rolling and blending polymer clay when she's making jewelry.

I'll be over for dinner tonight. What kind of wine should I bring?

I have one of these, too. Fresh pasta is the best!

You lucky monkey. Don't forget to let your dough rest, it makes a huge difference in the final product.

Potatoes anyday... you can keep your noodles.

Color me envious. I admire people who make their own pasta. I have never done that yet...yet mind you. I may be old, but someday I hope I accomplish that goal.

I thought about getting one, then I remembered that I have an entire kitchen cabinet dedicated to gadgets that make stuff taste fresher and better.
I'd use it maybe twice, then put it on the pile nest to the fruit and veggie juicer, the food dehydrator, the giant Cuisinart, the French press, the sommelier-quality cork extractor, the English trifle bowl, the chip n' dip server shaped like a huge jalapeno, the devilled egg tray and the hardwood rolling pin the size of a giant redwood tree.

i have had 1 for years. everyone in my family has one. fresh is better but we actually don't use it often. ny daughter just got a motor for hers and it makes it so much easier. she makes the ravs for xmas eve dinner. about 200 ravs so a motor is terrific.

my gram and pop tho, they came from italy and i have her macaroni "pin" she never would use the machine. i've never used her macaroni pin. i just have it as a keep sake. machine for me!

enjoy

Did it come with the ravioli do-hickey??

no, we just make sheets of dough and use crimped cutters. square for cheese-round for the meat ones.
