Thanks to those of you who asked if we were all right after the tornadoes that swept through here yesterday. As you can see from the map Monkey Central was well out of the range of those twisters, so Sparky and I are just fine. The mountains around here protect us from things like tornadoes, they do happen from time to time around here but for the most part they dissipate when they hit the lovely mountains here in eastern TN. My heart goes out to the folks who were affected by the storms in the western part of our state and I fear for the speedy revocery of that area because I heard that our idiot President was going to do everything he could to help them recover, just like he's helped the people in New Orleans I bet. If you can or want, give to a charity that will help those people out directly instead of giving to the Red Cross.
