Adventures in retail

The other day I went to Virginia to buy a Mega Millions lotto ticket and there was a female store clerk standing on the counter hanging up some Christmas decorations. Another female clerk behind the counter said, "I'm at this register sir, I'll ring you up here." The register she was referring to was the one clerk #1 was standing in front of, with her butt facing me.

I smiled at the clerk behind the counter as I stepped over closer to the lotto machine and I said as I pointed to clerk #1, "I'll let you ring me up over there because I don't know her well enough yet to go sticking my face in her butt." Clerk #2 laughed and said she understood. Clerk #1 turned around and gave me a little smile.
