I'll start caring about the Casey Anthony case when you start caring about all the kids we're killing in Afghanistan,
making homeless and parent-less in Iraq,
allowing Israel to kill in the Gaza Strip,
and letting our 'allies' in Africa use as soldiers to prop up their corrupt regimes.
Yes, the suspicious death of a little white girl is sad. But what's even sadder is all the kids we condemn to death to support our addiction to cheap oil and consuming everything we can.

A-FUCKING-MEN!!!
Not to mention the suspicious deaths of little non-white girls right there in Murrika.
I missed that entire Casey Anthony circus, I guess because NPR didn't really cover it, and I didn't click the links about it elsewhere. Now it's over and nobody's happy with the result. Ignorance can be bliss, or something in the blissful direction.
Yes, indeed.
This business of cameras in the courtroom is twisted.
She gave her life for the necessary reboot of American Media Hysteria. Not as crazy as Oil, but, y'know, just sayin.
The media is so quick to condemn mothers who may or may not have killed their own children, but never look into the epidemic of untreated mental illness that would lead to someone doing that. The top local news story here today is about two little boys who were just found murdered, allegedly by their mother's boyfriend. People will condemn her for taking up with the guy, but they'll fail to look at the economic crisis that drives women to hook up with nogoodniks (who themselves are victims of the neglect of a society for its citizens.) Too many Americans self-righteously condemn "evil" while salivating over the salacious details of whatever story du jour the mainstream media is serving up. We are an ailing society indeed.
yep!
Amen! thanks for breaking it down! I wish more would open there eyes.!
