Very good documentary about one of the supernova talents of the art world. It's much better than the mopey film that Julian Schnabel made about Basquiat a few years back. This one is good because it features the artist himself and those who were close to him, including art collectors, art dealers, his girlfriends, and his contemporaries.Highly recommended.

I didn't mind the film from a few years ago, so will definitely have to watch this one.
I kinda liked the mopey film a few years back (wasn't David Bowie Andy Warhol?) Then again, I had many more brain cells and smoked a lot of pot back then. A must-see then. Thanks!
