Barn of the week

We used to live about 4 or 6 miles from this barn. I have vague memories of working in this barn during my teenage years.

Or perhaps I got stoned and just thought I worked in that barn.

Or maybe I got stoned and avoided work in the barn. Yeah, that's probably it.

Actually, it looks like a great place to get stoned in.

Your memories of your past sound about as vague as mine. Maybe it's because we were always getting stoned?

Anyway, I love the barn - there is something about old bars that really appeals to me. I keep meaning to take pictures of the ones we see up in NY State when we're at our cabin. They're wonderful.

and not just a barn either, but a silo as well!

Many years ago, we almost bought a piece of property with a corn silo like the one pictured. I was going to turn it into the coolest every backyard gazebo.

What a great picture--the silvery-grey barn in such a beautiful setting.

I'm guessing you started working and then got stoned and that was the end of the work. What is the name of the valley Lee County is in?

Powell Valley.
