Huh - Ahead of its time, I am guessing?

Looks like an out of the closet subset (gay fiction) of a recognized genre (mysteries)-- what's the copyright year? I'm guessing it's after gay liberation entered the public's consciousness, because that doesn't look like something that would be sold only in backrooms.

That white silhouette dude isn't anatomically correct. Is it a female? Or just named "Ken"? It's a "turned-on mystery." Also he/she is fondling the big blue man's nostril. I like the character's name: Pharoah Love.

I love that the corpse silhouette's wrist is fey-bent & "Queer" font is script, though I read it at first as "Queen" which, upon reflection, would also work.
