I found these great illustrations by Ben Shahn in one of those Scientific American magazines I rescued recently. These illustrations accompanied an article on the epidemiology of mental illness.

Those are great! Did he ever do any kid's book?
Oh man oh man, I love that first one. I mean, all of them are great but given the context, that first one is arresting.
These are wonderful! Its amazing what one can find when turning over rocks (or Scientific American magazines). I'll have to Google this artist.
