Awkward comedy

If you're a fan of awkward comedy like I am, then you'll love the new show Louie on FX.
Louis CK stars, and he wrote, directed, and edited the episodes as well, as an aging divorced stand up comedian who is raising his two young daughters. It's full of awkward comedic moments and some laugh out loud funny stuff.

If, however, you are easily offended I suggest you skip it because they make light of all kinds of things that may make you uncomfortable.

I never saw his HBO sitcom but this is on my must watch list. In fact, I've seen some of the episodes two or three times already and I find new things to appreciate and laugh at with each viewing.

His show is great awkward comedy. You want to look away but you can't and that is what makes it all the more enjoyable. The poker game gay conversation was an instatnt classic.

I agree..it is great comedy...but then great comedy never paid very much attention to polictcal correctiveness ;-)

I'm really loving this show. Hands down the funniest non-animated show I've seen in a long time. The poker scene? Holy crap, how can something make a person cringe and laugh out loud at the same time?

Louie CK was on Fresh Air to promote this show, which is awesome, and Mississippi Public Broadcasting kicked Fresh Air off the air because during the interview Louie discussed having sex with his shirt on.

Can you believe that Mississippi has public radio?

I have only seen him in standup and on video clips. He seems hilarious.

I got rid of cable a while back, so I don't think I'll be catching it.

It really is a great show. Better than his HBO show, which was kinda clumsy but still damn funny.
